Hi again =)

I have a little Problem, i don't know if it were since i started @ GB-PVR. Also... i looked a recorded Movie and wanted to make a fast forward at the remote. No Problems, the Movie runs faster. Then i tried to rewind the Movie... -> No reaction; the picture is only stuttering.

I use the MPEG-2 Software Decoder from Intervideo WinDVD 4, which i have installed on my HTPC.

Could it be a Decoder Problem in combination with GB-PVR?

Same here. Just got my PVR150MCE and set it up, I seem to be having the same issue as you - was just about to post about it.

a lot of people had/have this problem, and i think the only possibility is to set the 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' option on the 'misc' tab in the config-app.

almost as good - even better IMHO.

i allways had the problem when using the hardware decoder (tv out) of the pvr-350

since a couple of weeks i switched over to software decoding, but never tried it again if it would work now... i actually like the short skip-stuff *g*
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Even when I set it up to skip when I do ff/rw it doesnt seem to accept hotkeys/keyboard commands for the reverse direction. Not sure whats up with this.
