I have dabbled with tv capture before and the quality was poor, i can only imagine that the quality has improved a lot. i am looking to purchase a new tv card with "freeview" DVB Channels and would like it to be compatable with GB-PVR
Could you suggest Which supported card is the best, Which card did you use for the red cap screen shoot, and in the tv guide there are digital channels which card did you use for this as i would like to record digital channels on "Freeview"?

Thanks

At this stage GB-PVR does not support DVB, but will do in the future. For now you'd have to use a device like the Hauppauge PVR250 connected to an external set top box.

Thanks for your quick response. Is there currently any hardware that will change the channel on the set top box?

Would you think the Hauppauge DVB cards will be supported? i might take the plunge and get one now!

Yes, GB-PVR has built in support for the USB-UIRT or Actisys IR200L IR blasters. I think several UK based users are also using the redrat IR blaster, which is more readily available there.
