Divx or Xvid Problem, strange quality

Hi All,

I have a problem, i have divx movies and "Auto convert recordings to Xvid" tv recordings.

Now i have the Divx codec 6.1 installed and xvid latest installed.

When i playback my movies, i get mild strange colors that sort of flicker, hard to explain, it's watchable, but not pretty. Note the movie plays fine in WIndows media player

If I uninstall the Divx codec the movies play in perfect quality, but then I cant watch my recorded auto converted to xvid shows.

Can anyone help?

Latest divx codec was the problem. I uninstalled it and the xvid codec and installed K-lite codec pack and both work fine now.
