Upon installing GB-PVR on Win2k, I came up with some funky error message, when config.exe was supposed to run after installation ("Config.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close").
I have DX9c, .Net 2.0 and MDAC 2.8 installed, so I somewhat puzzled as to what the problem might be. Even more puzzling is, that when I installed a BTV demo afterwards some DX9 and .Net related stuff was downloaded and after that GB-PVR was running.
Another strange thing in this context is, that the msi installation file is always accessed and run on bootup (I noticed, because the msi is on an external drive - when unplugged I get an error message).
Now I've installed GB-PVR on a second machine (the first install was a dry run) and came up with the same problem. As I don't want to clutter this system with another BTV install, I wonder, if there is any solution to this conundrum.
Thanks!
