I have a generic Norwood Micro tuner card from CompUsa. It's not a listed card and doesn't seem to be supported. Is there a way to try to get GBPVR to use the driver that came with my card?

When a program says that it only supports certain cards that means that it will ONLY SUPPORT THOSE DRIVERS.
So I doubt he will rewrite the program to accept that card.

I wasn't asking for him to rewrite any part of his program. I definitely don't have that big of an ego. However, he has requested that people do try to use unsupported cards. This leads me to believe there may be a way to edit a file to get the program to look at my card and try to use it's chips/filters/etc. Then, I get to be helpful and list my findings on http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...reCardList . Does this help you to understand better? Support forums are for people to do that, be all helpful and whatnot. Also, never assume something like this program will never stop growing and supporting new devices. GBPVR may one day control your coffee pot.

And I found my solution...

welcome to gbpvr bsonline.
Good news that you got your card working ok using the WDM recorder. This is kind of the "last chance saloon" for people with cards not officially supported and people's experiences vary. Like you said, it would be good to update the wiki once you are satisfied that the card is working reliably.
