I have a PVR350 and a PVR500. I think I have them in the correct order in my config because I can see output from all 3 tuners, but DeviceTypeCheck does not find the 350. This is what the display shows:

device #1 is PVR500 with FM
device #2 is PVR500

and this is what the log says:

INFO Log started
VERBOSE ECP interface found
INFO Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture: model 23552
VERBOSE ECP interface found
INFO Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture: model 23552
VERBOSE ECP interface found
ERROR Failed to get ECP general string
VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture
ERROR Failed to find requested device: Hauppauge PVR150 (instance 4)

Why can't I find the 350? Why is is looking for a 150?

Thanks!

I would have thought it would be able to see the device, but I would have expected it to be listed as a PVR250. I cant tell the difference programmatically between a PVR250/250MCE/350, so I just guess that its a 250.

Its never been tested against a PVR250/350 though, so I'm not surprised.

Just ignore the logs mentioning the PVR150. This is correct. All the Hauppauge PCI devices share the same filternames, so the DeviceTypeCheck utility effectively looks for as many PVR150s as it can find, then checks for the real type.
