I have been using gbpvr for about 6 months now and I think it is an excellent program. I have one major issue however, when watching recorded shows and dvd's, the output is washed out. If I watch live tv or mpeg4(avi files) it is fine, but mpeg2(recorded shows) and dvd video is washed out. The strange thing is, if I set DVDPower to use hardware acceleration, start a DVD or recorded show and pause it, then start GBPVR, the recorded show or DVD is high quality and not washed out. Otherwise, GBPVR is washed out. If I un-select the use hardware acceleration in DVDPower it looks perfect, but if I use hardware acceleration in GBPVR it's washed out. If I use the Cyberlink DVDpower plugin in GBPVR, and select not to use HW acceleration it's still washed out. But as I stated above, if I start a DVD in DVDPower and pause it, then start the same DVD in GBPVR the picture is perfect and not washed out. It's like my MPEG2 codec is defualting to something I did not select. Has anyone had a problem with this?
