Hi sub,

Firstly thanks for the great software! I've had my pvr running GBPVR for the last two years so I thought it was time to pop back to your site and upgrade Smile Actually the machine used to crash once a week, but I think that was the PVR 350 drivers.

I was a little disappointed that I needed to update .net and msi installer to get things running, especially since MS has the silly WMA tool stuff. But thats not your fault Smile So I decided that I would do a complete clean install of the machine. So this is what I'm using:

EPIA motherboard with latest drivers
W2K sp4
dx9c
.net 2.0
mdac 2.6
PVR 350 latest drivers & software: 118_23257
GBPVR09813.msi

GBPVR seems to install (the finished button appears) but then I guess the config tool tries to start. Thats when I get an error message. I've attached the log files, let me know if you need more info.

People running w2k usually need to update WMP (I write this without looking at your logs, so I could be wrong).
I'm not always right

Hi sorry about the logs, I forgot to change the zip format after re-installation of 7zip.

Anyway WMP got me a bit further, so thanks for that stefan. Next I get some database errors. It's in the log files that I've attached, hopefully in zip format this time Smile
Cheers.

Thanks Carlito, that did the trick. the gbpvr.db3 file was 0 bytes. That was after a deinstall and reinstall. Strange. maybe both these tips could be added to the survival guide post or faq?

Thanks to all for the help!
