Hi,

I am currently having problems with VMR7, the picture appears like it needs to be viewed with 3d glasses (one part green, one part red). See attachment for a picture so you can see what I mean. Also, I don't want to use overlay since it dosen't have a transparent OSD and VMR9 (VMR9 dosen't give that effect) give me video that runs at like 1 fps.

As usual the picture and the logs are attached.

BTW, is there any way to limit the framerate in LiveTV preview mode, since my capture device outputs 60 and the picture shakes. If I was able to reduce it to 30, the picture wouldn't shake anymore

This looks like something funky happening with your video card drivers. There are no GB-PVR settings that would affect this.

No. If it would be anywhere, it would be in the software recording plugin you're using.

The red/green thing only seems to happen when I play an MPEG file or timeshift the TV.... If VMR9 didn't stutter I would be a happy camper....

and, I can imagine that the framerate can be controlled by the decoder...

I really hope those two problems to be fixed because I am so so close....

I did, I tried Catalyst 6.2, 6.5 and 6.12 and all give the same problem, weird colors in VMR7 and stutters in VMR9, I tried different quartz.dll and it didn't solve the problem either. I really wonder what is causing that strange effect and BTW does anyone know how to limit the fps via some mpeg decoder or the recorder ???

Sorry, I dont know then. It does look like the sort of problem that would typically be generated by the video card.

I think the only thing that could do this for you is the Software Recorder plugin you're using, but I'm not sure if it provides this feature.

The software recorder plugin dosen't provide such feature. GRR... I was so close to finding the perfect PVR software, so so close. I tried each and every pvr software on earth and nothing is working. WHY ??? Why is my all-in-wonder so much hated....  Sad

Maybe its time I make my own software....

The all-in-wonder does some really oddball things, which make it quite different from other capture cards and has stopped it from becoming a popular capture device.

I hate to say it, but its just so much easier to buy a popular well supported card. (sorry)

The thing is that stupid ATI is inventing the crappiest software on earth, I remember a couple a years ago, Multimedia Center was perfection, lowest cpu usage ever, best quality ever and best of all it worked. Now ATI has invented those brand new Unified T200 whatever drivers which sends the signal in the strangest manner i have even seen. It seeds a 720*240 signal at about 60fps while alternating lines. Its like they're trying to find a way to force users to use ATI MMC. Only some software have been able to decode the signal of the AIW properly, like WinDVR and SageTV, the only problem with those software it that they don't support canadian epg properly espicially in my area (Ottawa). All I am asking for is TV, pause, rewing and fast forward, Canadian EPG and proper dual display support. What I don't get sub is that you own a All-In-Wonder X800 yourself and you don't even support it. Why ? It feels like you throwed half of your video card and I guess you payed about 300 dollars for it. I don't want to throw it out. I'm really really frustrated and I don't know what to do and I DONT want to buy a new TV card. I mean there has to be some little peice of software that works on earth. But maybe I didn't find it. All the following ones I tried didn't have what I want (SageTV, ChrisTV, KastorTV, Media Portal, ShowShifter, Windows Media Center, WinDVR, Star Media Center, Windows Media Player Classic,...blabalblablabla and now GBPVR is also being added). The problem I have basic programming skils in Visual Basic and that wont help if I even think about whising about making my own software. I really need some directions to know how to make my card that I paid 400 dollars for to work and watch some tv....
