When I'm playing a DVD, I'm unable to skip forwards or backwards. I've tried it on my remote,, on the keyboard and with the OSD. No clue what the problem is. The navigator is set to DVD Navigator and the decoder is set to CyberLink Video Decoder/SP Decoder (PDVD7). Remote is set as Default and it's configured to/I'm using the Hauppauge 45 button remote that came with my PVR150. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

FF/RW problems are often associated with decoder issues. I recommend you configure GBPVR to use a different MPEG2 decoder if available (installed), otherwise download a different decoder and try that, eg Dscaler5 or Nvidia Purevideo Decoder.

Okay, I've just completely rebuilt my HTPC and I still have problems watching DVDs with GB-PVR. I've tried using several different combinations of navigators and decoders and I always get the same results: I can't get it to skip forwards or backwards AT ALL, but I can do FF/RW. I'm also unable to directly jump to a specific chapter on the DVD by entering the chapter number. It's just a little strange...

Isn't that a setting in the config under misc whether you skip or you ff/rw during playback? Unless you are talking about chapter skip.

I'm not sure why you're having the other problems, but just so you know, you need to press 'enter' after typing the chapter number.
