Whenever I try to watch a channel, I get a tiny screen, with like a big pixelated area around it. I took a cap because I knew I wouldn't be able to explain that :p

I'm pretty sure this is the nvidia aspect ratio bug. It affects users of nvidia video cards (with several apps, not just GB-PVR). Your options are either disabling hardware acceleration in your video decoder, or selecting the VMR9 Custom renderer.

Yup, that looks like what I got on the old machine. As suggested by the boss, VMR9 Custom fixed it.
