Yes the dreaded, Send or Do Not Send is the only options. This occurs when I start GB-PVR, it still functions if I drag the error diaglog box off the screen, I recorded a show last night to test and it works. The remote works too!

I had this all working except I upgraded to Office 2007 and I guess there was a Windows update that installed automatically and gave me a blue screen. I just wiped the drive, did a clean reload of windows, got SP2 and all the updates and installed GBPVR. There is no other software, except for the Hauppage stuff for my PVR150 card. Is there any solutions to this?

I have tried removing it and reinstalling with no luck. I have changed all my settings back to normal except the only thing I can think of that is different between this new install and my old is that PowerDVD was installed, maybe it was using that for software decoding? I wouldn't think that would provide that error message so early on since I have it going straight to the menu rather than to Live TV on startup.

Please help before I format my drive and start over again.

I was having that problem a while back, and if I remember correctly it was because of the mpeg-2 decoder. Make sure that you install one, cyberlink was working for me for a while, now I use MainConcept(that I installed with the K-lite codec pack) and it seems to work better and I haven't had this issue since.

Well I installed CyberLink PowerDVD 6.0 Deluxe with no results. I also downloaded and installed the k-lite codec pack and tried it with MainConcept and I am experiencing the same issue.

Any other suggestions before I format ?

Yes, I have .NET 2.0, I believe there is a 3.0 now that comes via Windows Updates. I have all Windows updates, including DirectX. Should I try taking the 3.0 off?

I basically just built this system from some spare parts I had laying around. I just installed XP home, w/ all the updates (same as this install which is giving me the error), on it like a couple months ago and was working fine until I installed Office 2007 and a Windows update for Office 2k7, then I was getting blue screens. I wiped the drive and started over.

I don't know if this is just some weird fluke in Windows or what. The odd part is that the program functions even with the error tucked away to the side of the screen.

You don't need to uninstall 3.0. It's basically just an add on to 2.0 and doesn't change any of the 2.0 libraries. It's used mainly for WPF api's.

I'm having the exact same issue. If I move the error message the program functions... bizarre for sure.
