I have a popular BDA card which is a dual Dvico tuner DVB-T.
One tuner uses the PCI connection and the other by internal USB jumper.
The card works fine with the enclosed drivers and software.
when i setup GBPVR the channels are scanned and selected without issues.
When i launch the program however and go to select livetv the system pauses and stays on the main menu.

What have i not done correctly.
Can someone please help me as i love the idea of the program and need it to work to keep my family happy.

Thanks in advance for any replies

In the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs directory.

I dont think its the cause of your problem, but I can only see one error in your logs:
Quote:2008-04-24 10:02:44.742 ERROR [4] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
at NativeUtilities.USBUIRTHelper.StartReceiver()
This is happening because you've configured it to use a USB-UIRT remote, but dont actually have one connected to your machine. The "USB-UIRT" is a specific product, and not a generic name for a "usb connected remote".

For whatever reason, it looks like the device is failing to lock onto a signal. I'm not sure why exactly though.

How can this be when the card works without a hitch with the enclosed s/ware that came with the card?

This issue happens on two different PC's with the same model card!

It is fully BDA compliant and is one of the most stable cards i have ever used and yes it is recieving a extremely strong signal.

I dont know. GB-PVR just treats all BDA cards the same, and works fine with the vast majority of cards. I can only guess there is something funny about its drivers that doesnt like the way GB-PVR does things.
