After some succesfull live-tv suddenly this:
After the last log entry only silence.
I chose 'watch' but gbpvr is only recording.

Any idea or do you need all the logs for this one?

2008-05-20 23:03:23.850 VERBOSE [1] About to play LiveTV File: S:\gbpvr\TV-6-620080520_2303.mpg Channel: BBC 1 London
2008-05-20 23:03:23.855 VERBOSE [1] getValue() loading new key/value into cache: /settings/ClientModeLiveTVPrePlayDelay
2008-05-20 23:03:23.855 VERBOSE [1] getValue: /settings/ClientModeLiveTVPrePlayDelay : 2000
2008-05-20 23:03:25.855 VERBOSE [1] Before LiveTV Play

Thanks

OK Here goes.

BTW: Why are there two recording services running (server and client?)

These are the logs from the client.

Thanks!

It was just easier for me to leave it running than code stuff to stop the service running when in client mode.

Its unable to connect to the server PC you've specified. Check the IP address is correct, no firewall is getting in the way, and the recording service is running on the server.

Thanks. Might it also be the recording service on the server is actively recording ? Anyway, i would expect a 'server not available' message on screen, not a hanging client? Nah, detail, thanks anyway.

No, in this case you'd an message in the application tell you that the tuners were in use.

Very little effort has been put into the PC client. Its a very low priority for me. If it doesnt like something, like not being able connect to the server, then its highly likely it'll suffer a brown trousers error. It'd be nice if it didnt, but thats just the way it is until I find more time to work on it. That said, it can work well if everything is setup correctly.

After i made sure any recording was stopped (which seems difficult, looks like the recording service is not always listening to the right mouse click commands?) i gave it another trie.

Can you look into it again? Thanks.

It looks like its timing out trying to connect to the streaming service on the service. Zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log from the server and I'll take a look.

I doubt it. Both recording services show the correct file.

Anyway: here are the requested logs:
