Hi there, I have GBPVR setup on a windows XP pro box and its configured and working great. I have a Vista 64 ultimate machine I want to use as a client. I tried to install the latest version of GBPVR but got lots of errors towards the end of the install relating to .ax files failing to register, I tried putting both the x86 and x64 runtimes on pre install and I;ve also tried re-register filters.bat. Both fail starting with GBPVRparser.ax. Can anybody point me in the right direction please? Any help appreciated. Thanks

I've been searching through the forums and the advice seems to be to re-install the vc runtime x86. I'm using vista 64 will the x86 work or do I need the x64 vc. I'm really stuck with this, I've put GBPVR on a clean vista build and still get the errors loading the ax files including the GBPVRParser.ax and so on. Thanks

To be honest, I have no idea. I've never tested on a x64 machine. I know others have been using it on XP x64 and Vista x64 though.

The GBPVRParser.ax file is a 32bit DLL, so I'm pretty sure'd need the normal 32bit version of the run time from http://www.gbpvr.com/vcredist_x86.zip

I'm running on Vista64 Ultimate and as a general rule, if something goes wrong install the 32bit version of the prereq or codec software. I'm fairly sure I did what was suggested above.

Thanks for that, everything installed ok this time, I'm just having problems now getting the ATI mux installed. It complains that its not a 64bit file. Any clues?

I've managed to lose that when mangling CCC - but the default is working well for me anyway so I've not bothered to get it back. But one of the ATI additional packages for vista64 did include it as I was previously using it. Have you tried them from the ATI site?

Will try and have a play around tonight, had to revert to an XP workstation to get sharing working, so far I've only been able to get sharing working using file sharing, I will try and upload some log files tonight.
