Hi all - My first time setting up GBPVR was painless for the most part but I have a few issues. (yup I did a search first)

Here is the set up

Althon 64 3000+ Winchester
Gigabyte K8NS 939 mother board
two (2) ATI E-Home Wonder tuner cards
Volari XGi V3 video card - 128 MB AGP version
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card
Dlink DWL 510 - Wireless G - card
Wd Raptor 36GB Sata drive for OS/Apps
Hitachi 160 GB Sata drive for Storage

I did a baremetal clean install of windows XP - all the drivers for the above hardware then installed the intervideo mpeg2 decoder...

Next I did the GBPVR install - set up my e-home wonders as the capture devices etc..basically a step by step install doc install.

Here are my problems - I get that Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object when I try to start LIVE TV.

I can go to the guide as set it to record a show - I tested it with ER last night. It plays back fine but if I try to fast forward I lose audio completly upon coming out of FF into normal play back.

I'm coming off of running MCE2005 on this system and that all worked fine and dandy but I'm never satisfied and heard good things about GBPVR!

Final question - Is anyone or does anyone know of a plug in for the ATI Remote Wonder for GBPVR?

Thanks in advance to anyone for any help

(P.S. - I am dumping the Volari XGI - I got it becuase supposidly it has full hardware MPEG2 Decoding and HDTV support but this card blows imho - screen redraws are dog slow in 2D - there is no noticable Mpeg2 acelleration I can see and it does not seem to support VRML9 [Image: rock.gif]? )

You'll probably need to disable the 'live preview mode' setting in the config app. This doesnt work with the e-home wonder.
