I'm using a ATI 550

I know Sub is still working on my last problem (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...hlight=550)

I can live with that for now.

But I discovered a new problem, on some of my recordings, playback is corrupt. I will be fine until about the end of the video (it can start as early as half way).

In WMP, it stops then keeps jumping to a good spot in video. If I try to skip ahead it will pay fine for 2 seconds then jump back to the same spot.

If I use NeroShowtime, it will play though, but the video/audio is distorted, and it will have less jumps than WMP.

The way WMP jumps it will never finish the video (always back to the same spot), but Nero’s jumps are on a smaller interval, and will eventually finish the video.

If some has a solution great, but if not I’ll just hope it gets fixed in the next release.

Thanks

If you have a corrupt recording, then the ATI drivers are generating corrupt MPEG2 data, and this is only likely to be resolved by updated ATI drivers.

GB-PVR doesnt do anything special for the ATI. Its treats the same as all other cards, and the data is writen to disk exactly as its supplied by the drivers. GB-PVR effectively says to the ATI drivers 'start recording', then at some later stage it says 'stop recording'. It doesnt talk to the device at all during this time, or in any way manipulate the data.

On that note I checked the driver version and there was a newer one (I'm usually good about these). So I'll see how this one does.

Thanks again
