Hi, I am trying to add utilities from bladerhq.com, the 2 utilities I am trying to download and modify are: AddReOccuring & RecTracker.....

I've downloaded them, and unzip to the proper gbpvr directory.

My question:
I can't find these two batches that the site is saying to modify:
"POSTEPGUPDATE.BAT"
"POSTPROCESSING.BAT"

Help pls.....

=============
RecTracker v2

Download it. Attach:RecTracker.zip [zip]

This utility can be used to prevent shows that you have already seen from being re-recorded.

You will have to edit two batch files.

The postepgupdate.bat
rectracker -purge

The postprocessing.bat
rectracker %1

just create those two batch files and save them in gbpvrs root dir, eg
C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\POSTPROCESSING.BAT
C:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\POSTEPGUPDATE.BAT

if you dont know how to make a batch file, its just like a plain simple .txt file (made with notepad) but with a .txt extension (but if you're here, you probably know how to do this already Smile)

Let's for simplicity's sake assume you mean "but with a .bat extension" Big Grin

Thanks for assuming I know how to create .bat file ^_^ (I don't feel bad anymore.....at least I know how to do that....)

But, how will gbpvr know when to execute these two .bat file? Or will I have to manually execute them everytime? (my goodness, I feel dumb again for asking silly questions.....)

HamsterGirl35 ^_^

if the .bat files are found, postepgupdate.bat will automatically be called after the epg has been updated. and if postprocessing.bat is found it will automatically be called after a recording is complete.

if you are using comskip you will need to add this line to the postprocessing.bat file aswell
Code:
comskip %1
since if postprocessing.bat is found, comskip isnt automatically run anymore.

hi, again....

I am having problem with rectracker (I've read some of other threads, but, still nothing.....)

I've setup all the info as stated in the forum, having the rectracker.zip (unzipped) and copied to my gbpvr directory
also created two batch files that contained:

postepgupdate.bat
rectracker -purge

postprocessing.bat
rectracker %1

But, rectracker.mdb is still empty after I finished a recording.....

Who can help me....

Try starting a thread on this topic in the "plugins and skin" forum, it's not certain that the developer(s) of rectracker reads this forum...
