Hi all,
I'm trying out "Chameleon" and LOVE it.
One question I have is, if you change the interface to NextPVR, how do you get back to the settings for it?
I'd like to tweak some of the settings but, since it launches into the NextPVR interface, I can figure out how to get to them.
Quote:With version 3.2, the utility has been stripped down to only extract the "icon" information for programmes, since all other data is available in NPVR itself in the meantime.
The utility will then search the programmes in your xmltv-file for additional information about show images and store them in the TV Listings database.
So when it says extracts "icon" information... I take that to mean so that this information can be used by TV Listings to display appropriate icons like 16:9 etc... That's about it right?
Didn't get an answer to my can't record problem but applied latest patches trying to cure it, seems to have caused this. Can no longer connect to front end-xbmc. Log says "unexpected error starting web server, file load exception, publickey token=null, or one of its dependences, parameter is incorrect". I would very much appriciate someone pointing me in the right dirrection. IP pings good. Live tv works good. As you can probobly tell from the dumb questions, this is my first attempt at a mcpc with nvpr/xbmc.
I am using:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Hauppauge HVR-2250
ATSC Antenna that has been tested and working
Decoder - Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder (this is the only option I can select)
I have been through the general settings and been able to get the ATSC tuner to scan available channels, selected a folder to store files, but when selecting Live TV, I am only getting a black screen. No sound and no picture.
The guide is not updating at all, (no show detail) is the only thing listed at every show.
Just bought a BD-F6500 and installed the Samsung app. Will test and report back but would it be possible to and WOL to wake my NPVR server up. I don't really want yo leave it on 24x7 or run upstairs every time I want to use it.
Looking forward to getting rid of my PopCorn Hour box, well the wife is.
Hi all,
I just installed this in my Openelec setup and it's working great.
Only "issue" I found is that if I'm in the EPG, have a show highlighted and select it (all with the remote) it switches to the screen that would allow me to play it, but pops up the channel dialog.
I then have to cancel that and select play to play the show.
Is there any way to disable this?
As far as I know the OK button on my remote is acting like a left mouse click and I don't have the same behavior on my Windows 7 machine using the mouse.
So what media player do I need to watch live TV via nDroid on the Galaxy S3 SCH-I535? Apparently VLC for Android doesn't support the Qualcomm SoC/CPU (not ARM based) - at least that's the gist of what I read/saw.
Also, believe I read that nDroid development has ceased. However, nDroid (TE) marches on and that's what I should install on the S3. That correct?
Tuner work on another machine on win 7 without problem, on the vista machine, tuner wont work, error message: "The tuner you were using was required for a recordng. WOuld you like to switch to watching a recording, or exit back to the menu?" only option given is "exit back to menu" also on the vista gathering channels take forever (like 4 hours) and in the end the program crashes. I had to import channels from the Win 7 machine, this is more than likely just me though.
I haven't recorded anything, as far as I know. all I did was click "live TV" and when that didnt work, went to program guide and tried from there.
Updated the latest patch from sticky.
Nrecord.exe not running in task manager when NPVR.exe is started (it should right??) so did the command prompt "nrecord run" thing, attached the command prompt log in zip, also attached npvr log folder from C:\Users\Public\NPVR
deleted ipv6 from hosts file in system32\drivers\etc
Tried turning firewall off (zonealarm), same thing. Have allowed all the npvr programs to accept connections etc but have not opened specific ports (I don't know how and shouldn't allowed programs be able to do this by itself anyway??)
