In GBPVR we could edit custom tasks in the config app and also arrange the order of items on the main menu by dragging in config app menu list window. This seems to be missing in NPVR, at least to me. Changing the menu item order in config doesn't seem to do anything. For custom tasks the only choices are add and delete. Any chance of getting these?
Under IE8, the textfield for setting time start and stop time of manual recording don't work correctly...
If i click on button to select start/end time, i see only "Clear time" item.
If i enter the time manually, on lost focus time are modified... example:
2.10 AM > 14.02
13.58 > 1.13
Title says it all... How is NextPVR coming along with the following?

TV-Series Plugin
Movies w/Moving Picture plugins
Music w/Plugin for windows Media Player or others...
Netflix Plugin
Hulu Plugin
Pandora Plugin
Web Page Plugin
Fanart Plugin
Well You can tell Im using MP but have a problem with Stability so we are looking to try something new....
I spent hours transferring stuff from VCR to PC in mpg format. But none of the files would play sound on the A-100. Fine on PC in WMP and NPVR. More hours spent transcoding but to no avail.
Unfortunately, the sound was only on the right stereo channel. With not much hope (disappointed so many times before!) I switched the left and right cables from the A-100 and, bingo, now there is sound
It seems only to be using the left channel. Is there an explanation for this I wonder??
What actually is the âSubTitleâ! Here in the UK the SubTitle is always blank in my database. When it is used I assumed that it was supposed to be the first word or words in the description separated by â:â from the rest of the description. I am trying to find a way to detect duplicate recordings using what I thought was the Sub Title. I started off borrowing a few lines from the Recording Rename script as it uses the Sub Title in the file name but that found nothing. I then tried NScriptHelper.exe which finds the âTitleâ and âDescriptionâ but never a âSubTitleâ.
So "suddenly" all my mpg2 files will no longer play in NPVR... no audio or video. They play fine through graphedit. Reading the post at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ot+working, I set <ForceMpgGraph> to false and they all played. I don't know if this is the long term solution, but I haven't made any changes to NPVR for several months so was surpised that this just seem to have happened out of nowhere. Log extract is below (I attempted to play bda.mpg) and screen captures of my settings and graphedit which played the file fine.
So NPVR has been working great after I got it all set up....until today. I get the message "Unable to communicate with recording service" when I try to watch live tv. When I click on device status in my tray It comes up blank. When I go to tv guide all the channels say no show detals. When I go to the settings and try to update epg it crashes and says "NextPVR has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I can play shows I have that are previously recorded without a problem. I have tried to "restart recording service" but that doesnt do anything. I have also tried restarting multiple times. I have tried turning off my firewall, and also added nextpvr to the list of firewall exceptions.
I installed some windows auto updates earlyer today so I think it may have something to do with that. I am running XP if that makes a difference.
