Is it possible to make it submit/search if you press enter after entering text into the "Search for Phrase" field? I often times type a phrase in and press enter, but then remember I have to hit submit. I know it's trivial, but figured I'd ask. As always thanks for all the work you put in, the interface is very much appreciated.
I currently have an audio problem, when I try to watch any Live TV channel, there are lots of audio glitches.
I'm using the following decoder "LAV Audio Decoder".
I've tried to use the other decoder "ffdshow Audio Decoder", but when I do this the sound doesn't play at all.
Any idea how I can fix this? Is there any other audio decoder that you can recommend?
I'm a newbie at this but I've read most of the items related the title above. I've also managed to add my own device using the instructions given.
Anyway, here the output of my filtercheck and screen shot. As you can see I've already added my device=USB 2863 Device. Unfortunately when you look at the "Present" column, the value of "No" is seen.
Referring to your response to this thread re DVB/ATSC based EPG not having a file to manipulate, is there a way I could dump the database to an xml to get my XML Grabber to manipulate or or post-epg update process it? If not, is this wish that could come true ?
I am having problems playing back anything with AAC audio. The video works fine, but I get no audio. The same holds true when I attempt to watch them through Windows Media Player. I have installed SAF version 5 and tried version 6. I am connected to an Onkyo AV receiver, but have also tried going directly to the TV with no change. AC3 recordings work perfectly. Any suggestions?
Running Win7 H-P
all has been well for sometime now but!
All of a sudden some of my recordings have stopped short of epg time
ie I got 60min of 90
Thought it was issue with EPG but itâs occurred on two separate channels
Run out of ideas

I'm trying to record duplicate programs. I find that after unchecking the "Avoid duplicate recordings where possible" box, it will not stay unchecked. The "Match Exact Title" or "Match Start of Title" selection is sticky, but the "Avoid duplicates" box always goes back to checked. Where is this recorded in config.xml?
I have been on 2.2.6 since a month or so now, until then I had 1.3.11. So I am not sure if my issue is designed to behave like this, or whether it's a bug:
When I am playing music, but want to listen to another song I double click the new song (on the PC). In 1.3.11 the new song started playing wright away, in 2.2.6 I have to press stop first.
Is this designed like this in 2.2.6 or is this a bug?
Then on the MVP, it takes 3-4 seconds after pressing stop before I can move the cursor to a different song. That's long if you have to wait. Is this normal?
I recently had a failed recording, details of which said "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.". However the problem was pretty simple - the hard drive was out of space. The message could probably be improved easily?
