I have created metadata using Metadata Grabber for my "Lost" recordings. Now I'd like to view this data (epsiode name, synopsis, etc) in Videos Library. I can't seem to find a way to do this.
Well, I got impatient with my last problem (no TV Guide data showing in TV Guide). So, I deleted GBPVR completely and reinstalled it from scratch. TV Guide is working now.
BUT, I have a handful of recorded TV shows from before I had trouble, and they do not show in GBPVR's list of recordings. Is there some way of manually adding them (or something) so I can access them from the GBPVR menu?
Thanks
A few days ago, I noticed that GBPVR would not display any TV Guide information. All that was shown was 'no show details' for each any every channel. I looked into the xlmtv.xlm file, and could see that, for some unknown reason, it had not been updated for several days.
After downloading the EPG software (thinking there may be a needed update) and reinstalling it, mc2xlm sucessfully connected, and created a new xlmtv.xlm file. Looking into the file contents, I could see dates into next week near the bottom of the file.
However, even after doing all that, GBPVR still won't display anthing but 'no show details' for all channels. I downloaded and installed the latest release of GBPVR, again thinking I needed to upgrade, but no luck.
I've just reformatted and reinstalled everything. All is working well, except I've just discovered that when watching TV, the audio is behind the video. Makes it pretty annoying when watching the news. Curiously, audio and video are in synch when live TV is launched on PVRX2, but move apart after about ten seconds of viewing.
When watching videos from the Video Library, all is well.
As you can see in the title I use the Terratec Cinergy C HD card and I'm not abel to find all cahnnels. I only find the digital ones on the frequency 394 and 450 MHZ but no other digital ones or even the analog channels. Pleas help me to find the right settings!
Enclosed you find a digital and a anlog channel list of my provider.
just got the UnityMedia DVB-C working, attached is a channel and encoding list for Frankfurt, as the standard scan won't work due to different modulations.
So after a marathon format and reinstall (three years of microsoft updates to install)
I'm at the GBPVR setup stage.
So my first and most important problem is to do with playback of Live TV
I'm using PureVideo Decoder on Win XP with GBPVR 1.4.7
When watching tv the picture is perfect however the sound stutters once, then is fine for a few seconds and then stutters away to silence.
However when using the config app to tune the channels (more on that later) I get the preview picture with perfect sound (and can watch it full screen if I click on it)
So my question is what is the difference in the playback betweent he two systems and how do I make Live TV work in the same way?
Recording (using TS) works fine on playback I have perfect sound and picture
I've attached some logs in case that helps
Secondly I'm having the trouble with the Audio#2 mappings tha lots of others seem to be having problems with. Have tried the patch that sub provided but still having problems, Incidentally I'm getting a lot of Unknown channels in the scans as well, which considering I can see Crystal Palace transmitter can't be down to poor signal quality. On some scans they come up unknown at other times not weird.
This is all made a bit more annoying by the fact that I have rescan twice to get all channels and if I set up all the channels fine during the day, I then rescan in the evening and it messes them all up. It would be nice if there was an option to scan for New channels that didn't try and do anything clever with the existing tuneing requests.
Anyway I understand that Sub changed compilers to 2008 recently so there won't be any more patches for 1.4.7, so not expecting a fix. If some additional logs would be useful for debugging then I can post them if required.
