I have one question about common interface.
I have an Technotrend s3200 + CI and i have select S1500 CI/CAM on DigitalSourceConfiguration.Common interface but when select one encrypted channel on display appear this channel is currently encrypted on foreground black screen.
In the DigitalSourceConfiguration the S3200 does not exist.
Can you help me?
If anyone knows about the files and formats required by the Video Library metadata view, and the range of sources for this data. Please post below or, if you want, directly edit the wiki page just created for this info
Hello, I have a problem when setting the recording time manually performed by the remote PC.
The problem lies in not recognizing the 24-hour format when you set the time from a remote PC, while locally (http://localhost:7467/gbpvr/) the problem does not occur.
Obviously I tried to set the time from different computers, but they all behave the same way.
Who can help?
Thanks
I have been searching the forum to get access to DVB-C subtitles when playing recordings on my PCH A-110. But I have not found any information other than suggestions it will not work, not a big issue but this is one thing I would like to get working if possible.
So I figured the easiest way is to ask: is it possible and if it is, how do I do it
Thanks to everyone for comments on the other thread that was hijacked, but to be fair the title wasn't clear. I figured I'd start over making it clear this thread is for experienced ML2/3 users. New users feel free to post in a new thread, I am not really in a position to support general ML3 questions yet.
Anyway I am going to try and post "nightly" releases now, things are finally starting to work more or less like I want to on the PCH, and I can even play in tkgafs mode for hours, but I am going to need some more feedback to really kick this up. This is key.
There are still a lot of things that don't work, but now my highest priority is reducing the number of reloads from the database. I hope this will allow ML3 to retain it's position in Artist list which is my pet peeve and maybe fix other odd thing.
As I go I'd like to anyone interested to post their number 1 priority fixes. There's too many directions to go to get them all, so I figured I'd start at the top and work down. If anyone wants to maintain a master list of all problems major and minor feel free, that would help too.
@newyankee regarding the keys, I figure the keys are going to change to be more like GBPVR. I am trying to reduce the number of dialogs, so if you hit stop while playing you will need to select the "Last Played" playlist to reopen it.
Has anyone successfully got dual tuner working with the Hauppauge HVR-2200 in GB-PVR?
The Hauppauge advertising says itâs dual tuner. From reading elsewhere in the forum I know itâs got both dual analogue and DVB-T tuners but you can only use two at any one time. My preference would be to have two DVB-T tuners working, it would be great to be able to view a different channel and record at the same time. One DVB-T tuner is working well at present.
Iâve read the GB-PVR manual, which lead me to the trouble shooter for dual tuner cards. The trouble shooter recommended I install the âDeviceTypeCheckâ utility. Unfortunately the utility didnât detect the HVR-2200 card.
Any suggestions?

Martin,
I am wondering if there is a way to reassign the PCH remote button "next" to an actual 1 minute skip like you did with the GBPVR interface for all PCH playback. I was not able to locate any information on re-programming PCH remote buttons. Thanks in advance.
Iâve updated an old rarely used Vista 32 based PC that has been happily running GB-PVR version 1.0.16 since it was released, and I've run into a problem.
In preparation for installing version 1.4.7, I downloaded and installed the new version of the Visual C++ redistributable that sub linked to in the â1.4.7 availableâ announcement thread. That appeared to install correctly, with Event Viewer reporting:
Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable. Product Version: 8.0.59193. Product Language: 0. Installation success or error status: 0.
I then closed the GB-PVR Tray app, stopped the recording service and ran the GB-PVR 1.4.7 installation. Again that seemed to be OK and Event Viewer reported:
Installation operation completed successfully.
Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: GB-PVR. Product Version: 1.4.7. Product Language: 1033. Installation success or error status: 0.
A lot of GB-PVR functions seem to work without any problem â Music Library plays mp3 files OK, and Video Library plays Xvid avi files just fine. Live TV from an analogue tuner works, and Iâve successfully scheduled a recording from an analogue source. Recordings which are all MPEG-2, both pre- and post-dating the version upgrade can be played by Media Player Classic or Windows Media Player on the same PC. When exported to my main HTPC, GB-PVR version 1.3.11 also plays them without any problem. However any attempt to play a recording on the new version 1.4.7 installation results in PVRX2 crashing:
PVRX2 has stopped working

I really like your plugin. It has increased the WAF for me. I just had a couple of ideas that you can choose to ignore. My long winded requests follow.
First, display the original air date for a show. Right now I run UltraXML & the only thing I do is have it add the original air date to the front of the description for each show. For movies, it uses the year. It would be great if there was an option in Config to have your plugin be able to display this value. That way I wouldn't have to run UltraXML, which is very useful & powerful but I think most people that use it do more with it than I do. Also, if you could display the air date, it would nice to have the recordings be optionally sorted by air date. For instance, we started watching Bones earlier this year. The new episodes show on Fox. Episodes from previous seasons show on TNT & on Fox on the weekends. It would be nice to have some way to sort them based on the order they originally were shown. Right now, I can only sort on the title of the episode or the date that I recorded it. If I could sort by description, that would work in my case since the date is at the front of the description.
Second, be able to add a horizontal spacer in the TV Listings. I have a digital tuner. I have multirecord turned on. For those that don't know, that means that I can record shows on multiple stations that share the same freequency at the same time. For HD stations, there are usually only 2 stations per frequency. For SD stations, there can be 10 or more. I can remember that for HD, ABC & NBC share the same frequency & that CBS & Fox share the same frequency & that PBS & the CW share the same frequency. Therefore, I can record a show on CBS at the same time I record one on Fox. For the SD stations, especially since Comcast seems to like to move things around, I can't remember which stations go together. If I could put a spacer in the listings, I could arrange the channels by their frequencies & delineate them. I realize I could create a separate guide for each frequency, but I would have to add so many guides & you can only go in one direction with the yellow button. To go back & forth between channels would be a real pain. Right now, most of my recordings are on my analog tuners, so this is more of a thing for the future.
If I did not explain these clearly, please let me know. Both of these are in the nice to have category. I really like the way your plugin works now.
