Anyone having problems with scanning channels in HDHR with the last 2 updates (1013 & 1016)? I get lock ups about half way thru the scan on 2 different systems. Using the same scan frequencies with my 2250 and 650 poses no problems but as the scan gets halfway and sometimes farther, it locks up. I've even installed things from scratch with no luck. So far, with the help of the Wiz BDA Migration tool I've been able to use the 2250 scans on my HDHR but I'm wondering what's so different about the latest updates from Silicon that may be causing the problem. As of yet, I've not posted on their forum.
When trying to install it I have the following problem:
1. I execute the "wintv6_cd_4.6b.exe" downloaded from hauppage. (I also tried several versions of the drivers and wintv - can anyone point me to the latest just to make sure?)
- When I select Step 1 - Install drivers:
- A screen appears showing - Searching for hardware and updating drivers
Then after several driver names pass by, a message appears - Drivers
have not been updated. Compatible hardware not found
I have connected the hardware to a usb2 port, to the tv cable and to
the power source.
I now it's not gbpvr related, I havent gotten there yet, but can anyone help please? I tried other versions of the software, the one
on the cd that came with the hardware, and others I got from the
internet.
The administrator of penbex.mine.nu one of the sites that Web Radio supports has kindly expanded his interface and now provides Web Radio with much more information (location, genre, bitrate) on the streams.
http://penbex.mine.nu is a site that is worth checking out, the station links are good, it allows you to edit bad links and you can even create your own station lists on the site.
My friend who bought his M34a at the same time as I did mentioned the other day that his date was back to front as in displaying month & then day, with a very small amount of looking it was discovered that he had US selected for his regional options, but even after changing the option to NZ & deleting the US option so it only has NZ & unplugging the NMT & cold booting the PC it still displays month/day using GB with the NMT, GB on the PC displays the day/month the right way around. Any ideas??
I am getting this error when I try to install the latest version:
"This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package."
I downloaded it in Firefox and in IE and I'm getting the same error in both. I'm thinking that it's because I'm running W7 RC, I'm going to try and see if it'll run on my Vista laptop. I'll let you know how it goes
I have read and download all of the "system requirements" although some like media player 11 are newer versions....
I have downloaded every new driver for my current PC that I can think of...
I have the Haupp WinTV-HVR-1600 installed (but I have not installed any drivers for it yet because I didnt know if I should)...
Am I ready to load all of this up??? or is there something I am missing....
Also this is not really a GBP issue however since I have your attention I might as well ask.... Since I have my computer to this point.. Is there anyway I can back it up to a dvd or something so if I screw this up I wont spend hours getting everything back????
