- major internal changes to add HDMI 480p/576p Component 480i/576i 480p/576p
- zoom modes now wait for video to be playing, should be more accurate
- mpeg-ts audio only can be played* Only works with WebRadio 2.0 plugin for now
- changes to "maybe" correct problems with comskip commercials at the beginning of the file
- new command line option to adjust the time to search for a server --em-wolwt ## The original 30 seconds has not changed.

I've just uploaded v2.10 of the TV Listings plugin at the wiki. Changes include:

Is there a Jump function that allows you to jump between the previous and current channels on Live TV? I don't see it in the manual.

I've always had this annoying problem of live TV dropping the occasional frame or something like it anyhow. Every 30-60 seconds it has a small glitch and appears to drop a few frames, audio can also break for a split sec then it catches up and is fine again.

I'm using a Compro t200 which seems to work fine with it's own software. Machine had plenty of grent so it shouldn't be a resources or hardware issue. I've tried looking at the logs but I must admit I have no idea what I should be looking for, or indeed which log I should even be looking at for such an issue.

I've tried different muxes and video decoders, all of them seem to create the same issue. Also it does not seem to occur on the TVs own tuner, so I don't think it's the signal.

I'll try and attach the logs and if anyone has any suggestions that might help or can point me in the right direction as to where to start looking I'd appreciate it.

I installed GBPVR and MVPmcX2 using NMTInstall.exe. to my XP machine. Using all the defaults, 720p and Mac address in the format 0006DCXXXX (all caps no colons periods or spaces) not touching GBPvr except to autostart a server and the Web service. I shared the folder mvpmc to guests (simple file sharing on, guest access on)
I have set the PCH video mode to 1080i 60hz, (connected via HDMI to my new 2nd hand HD Ready set that seems to upscale everything to 1080i) created an unnamed share on my PCH-110 that links to mvpmc folder on machine GX620. When I do http://192.168.xx.xx:8883/network_share.html where the x's are the ip of my PCH I can see the 1.GX620:mvpmc folder. I have set up manual ip on my PCH. I cant telnet back to my GX620 machine from PCH because I cant for the life of me figure out how but I can browse to mvpmc on GX620, see the GBPVR.html file but whenever I click "GBPVR via network browser" I get "Request cannot be processed" without delay.
I installed mvpmcx2 to a USB stick and it ran GBPVR fine from there although the menu took up the left middle of the screen in a 720 x 540 or thereabouts size window. (and did if I set video mode to 720p)
I have been through twenty or so posts with this error and have spent all day reinstalling and tweaking everything I can think of.
One strange thing is when I reboot the PCH I get a choice of Hard Disk, network Browser, or the MVPMC share. This option then disappears after 20 secs or so. Then after i try to run GBPVR (and get the error message) whenever i try to press the Source button or the "Media Source" option in the Main menu, I get the "Request cannot be processed" error and can't navigate around the media without rebooting the PCH. GRRR !
I bought this PCH second hand, with a 500G drive full of movies, i will clone the films off overnight so I can do a clean reinstall of the NMT apps and reformat the disk to see if that does anything.
I am at the end of my tether and that means coming here to test the saintly patience of Martin and sub and all you good people, who will hopefully hold my hand through setting the permissions and whatever of my new toy...

Over the last few weeks, I have been having failed 0 byte recordings. I get them when I have back to back recordings. Tonight I tried testing and have some logs. I scheduled two recordings back to back on the same channel. Then for the next time slot, I scheduled a recording for a different channel and then another for a different channel again. I got the first two correct, then on the channel change, (19:30 smarter than 5th grader), I got a zero byte and again at 20:00. I manually stopped the recording and restarted it and it started recording fine.

Ideas? I see in the logs that it knows it is not recording, but I don't see anything as to why.

Hello all!
I just recently got my new GB-PVR system up and running and I love it. I am running into a couple issues though. There are items in the main menu that I do not want to show up, like "Exit", "Play Music" and some others. I went to config and under plugins UnChecked the ones I don't want and then clicked OK and restarted the software, but the items are still in the Main Menu. Am I missing somthing? What other steps should I take to remove the menu items I do not want to show up? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone confirm that they are using a .exe changer and that it is working?

I am using hipsend.exe to change my PVR150-MCE beanbag, and it seems to work perfectly when viewing live tv (or selecting a channel from the guide), but when I select Record or Quick Rec from the guide, it just records the channel that was last active - same for scheduled recordings.

I have checked the log and it indicates that it is calling Hipsend to change the channel, but the IR blaster is not firing.

Is there any way to check in HIP if it receiving the request from HIPsend?

Also, what is the purpose of the Hipsend.ini file that is created in the gbpvr directory? It seems to be recreated if deleted, and in my case always contains 400|0:1


FYI: I have had this problem for maybe 2-3 years?!? over various versions. Its annoying me now as its the only thing I haven't managed to fix

Been using GBPVR for several years...especially since it give me no problems at all compared to other software.

I would like to see what would need to be done to add more recording time to a program. For instance...I record two one hour shows and edit out the commercials and save each show separately as a separate file. This works well...except for only being able to go up to 90 minutes at the end of the program. Would love to be able to record a three to five hour block of a channel at a time. Not sure if there would be any way to change from 90 minutes to 180 or 300 minutes?

I'm using a laptop as a client. (1.4.7)

Occasionally, if I'm going out of town for a few days, I file transfer several shows I may want to watch from my PVR server to the laptop's Video Library folder so I can play them locally, without being connected to the server.

In order to do this I need to redo the configuration by unchecking "Configure this machine to act as a client", otherwise PVRX2 crashes when it starts up because the server doesn't exist. When I return home and want to use the laptop as a client again I have to redo the configuration again.

I looked at the command line options in the wiki and didn't see any that appeared to be able to set the path to the config.xml file.

I believe it would be worthwhile to have a "-config path\to\config.xml" command line switch. That way we could create shortcuts to start PVRX2 using different config settings.

This would also be of benefit if you're trying to solve a problem by changing the config. You could have your good config in the C:\Progr...\GBPVR\GOOD folder and make modifications to the one in C:\Progr...\GBPVR and always have a shortcut that points back to the "good" config.
