I have an Asrock A780FullHD MOBO with onboard ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card. I have sound with live TV, but no video. My capture card is an Hauppauge HVR 2250. Any help would be appreciated.
i have a sound problem playing back some recorded tv, sound plays ok in high def surround sound but normal standard recordings get no sound, i have spdif out and have tried settings in fdd and have also tried ac3 to control depending on the setting it will play one but not the other but when i get it to play standard def and then try to play other videos i get a very heavy static noise? but when it is playing high def recordings everthing else is fine.
and there are no sound problems wathching live tv.
i have k-lite codec pack installed.
Can anyone help please?
I can't figure out what share name to put in the EditMe in the telnet.html file.
My share is located on c:\mvpmc
The computer name is Bohr.
Just got the PCH so please don't mock if I'm a bit behind
With that said: I can do the network share, browse MSHOME (the workgroup) browse BOHR; then click mvpmc
I saw in another thread you could use BOHR:mvpmc so I tried that and tried to hit it over the network (http://192.168.1.105:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/...elnet.html) and got a 404 error. So then I went into setup and added a network share and called it gbpvr so now on my sources menu I have one called gbpvr.
So I tried replacing BOHR:mvpmc with gbpvr and still 404 error.
Help (p.s. i can't use the installer because I already have gbpvr running and tweaked.)
Hi there! In the Video Library section, is there any way to queue up several shows/files to be watched? ie Click a show to play it, and then, while that file plays, have the ability to click more files to queue them up after the currently playing one?
Even better if there were two buttons, giving two Play options for a selected file in the Video Library:
1. Queue up selected file at end of Now Playing list
2. Clear Now Playing, add selected file and Play (essentially, what the Play button does now, but without the ability to queue up other files afterwards)
I'm guessing I'll need a plugin to do this, but I've had a look around and can't find this feature in any current plugins. Does this feature exist?
To The Author of GBPVR - Fantastic Software, Thank you muchly.
Dear All, I've had a look through the forum and have noticed a number of queries regarding the FM radio feature not appearing in the selection list. I have however not found a solution. I am using version 1.3.7 with a LeadTek 1800 card. I have (so far) done the following: Checked the config.xml to make sure the FM radio option is there and not after the EXIT option. I have copied and pasted the settings from a previous post without success. I am using the blue skin. All other GBPVR functions I use, work perfectly. I've gone to the plugins page and selecetd and de-selected both "Net Radio" and "FM Radio". The result of this is that "Net Radio" comes and goes from the main menu but the "FM Radio" option never appears.
as the title states I can't get audio with live tv. I have an hvr-1250 (unsupported I know!) and have been able to get the video working fine after finding tweaks on this forum. I have attached my logs. I've tried every combination of codecs I could think of. If I can get this working I can leave mediaportal behind for good!(too buggy and unreliable) Thanks for any guidance in advance. forget to mention using gbpvr version 1.3.11
I'm trying to figure out the level of support for FM with gb-pvr.
Assuming I have a tuning card that supports FM --
1) Can I listen to FM broadcast with gb-pvr?
2) Can I record FM broadcast with gb-pvr?
3) Can I schedule recording FM broadcast gb-pvr?
I don't currently have gb-pvr or tuning card. I'm doing some research to help decide what to buy. Your help is appreciated.
Okay, so I have done searches in the general search area to see if I could find this answer, and so far I have not seen it.
I am a Vista MCE user, looking to change to something more flexible and frankly, I am tired of MS and the lack of EPG updating for digital sub-channels.
I have installed the latest GBPVR. I am using two Hauppaugue WinTV 1600 cards, so I changed the dop per the instructions in the config.
For my EPG setup, I am using schedule direct. The config shows the correct channels in the capture sources, and I changed the skin to the other default (forget the name).
When I open up PVRX2, it has the other default blue skin. I can see every option in the menu, but the guide and live TV are not working. My best guess is that my tuner cards are not receiving a signal or are not setup properly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciative. Thanks for all you do!
I want to use my PVR-150 with the Dish TR-40 converter box and can not figure out how to get it to change the channels. Has anyone set this up? I can not find any codes that work with it. Is there any third party software that will work with it. Thanks.
I have read some threads on here but none that answered my questions yet.
I have cable tv so normally 4:3 pillarbox is best, but some shows are now being broadcast in a boxed in 16:9 ratio.
Basically, having a black frame around the picture (bars on the top and bottom and the sides)
I assumed GBPVR's "fill" setting would correct this but it doesn't
when i use fill it only stretches the picture horizontally, getting rid of the side bars
And "auto" does the same thing
This is actually worse than anything since it stretches the actual images more than if i stretch a normal 4:3 picture
Is there a setting or a way to change this to stretch my image vertically also?
