Seems I am posting a lot recently - apologies. Hopefully others will find this useful too.

My current setup:
Dishpro Plus Twin pointed at 110 and 119
DP301 receiver into port 1 of DPP Twin (for power injection only)
Twinhan 1020a connected to port 2
Port 3 is empty

GBPVR Settings:
Capture Source 1 (119): Device #1, LOF1 = 11250, LNB Switch = 11700, LOF2 =14350;
Capture Source 2 (110): Device #2, all else same

I also set BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod to "2" in config.xml per an earlier post

I am scanning 110 channels fine, but 119 scans result in some 119 channels and some 110 channels. I am guessing my LNB Switch value is not correct?

HI, I have an Harp. HD-pvr that I am using with an MCE IR remote and receiver, I am not currently using the Harp. supplied remote that came with the HD_PVR. The HD_PVR uses an external ir blaster to tune an Scient. Atlantic DSTB. I have not been able to configure GBPVR to tune the DSTB yet. If I select "no changer needed" then I can view the last channel tuned. All though I can tune channels with the DSTB remote. I have tried many combinations with no luck. I have been reading the forums and I have read where some configs have worked and others have not. I had this setup working fine in Sage so I know the blaster can drive the DSTB, and the HD-pvr can capture. Does anyone out there know if it is possible to use the HD-PVR with a MCE remote while using the external IR blaseter on the HD-pvr to externally tune a dstb? Additionally I tried to remove the remote from the equation by simply using a mouse. I still have had no luck on configuring GBPVR to tune. I would appreciate any info. The type of remote that I am using is a Microsoft MCE Remote 2005 (version 2) remote with USB receiver, with XP Pro SP3.

Hi, I just downloaded this plugin and the potential of it is amazing. however, I seem to be too dense to figure everything out on my own. Every time I try to look at my Queue it tells me it is unable to retrieve it. I have entered my RSS Id, and I am sure it is entered correctly. Any one know what the problem could be. I would like to use the queue feature so I can save all my favorite watch it nows instead of having to go through all of them in the clunky menu of the plugin. Thanks!!

My name is Adrian and this is my first post.

In case it matters, here's my hardware:

Dell Lattitude D610, 1.6ghz, 512mb, Hauppauge PVR2 USB2, Comcast Cable, direct, not using a cable box.

Everything was working OK, I was recording a show here and there and then playing them back. I was poking around and saw that the recorded files were pretty big, so I decide to start encoding the new recordings with DIVX. When I recorded my first one, it wouldn't play back, so I went to the DIVX web site and downloaded the codecs and player.

Now my recordings do play, but when I start them, GBPVR exits full screen and my start bar shows up at the bottom of the screen. The result of this is that the GBPVR screen is no longer selected and therefore it doesn't react to my remote. If I click on GBPVR, it goes back to full screen and I can re-use the screen again. The problem with this is that I have the computer connected to my TV and it's a pain to get up, open the laptop, and click the GBPVR screen so that I can use my remote.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? What's up?

when it says "retrieving movie information" after choosing a movie, can there be a way out of that screen??

it usually is only up there a couple seconds.
but sometimes it never seems to find the info, and it is there forever.
if I am downloading I wait for the drive light to slow down before I ctrl-alt-del out of it.
one of those times had the message up there for 45 mins.

I've just converted to an HD-PVR. My current computer specs are a 3GHz P4 HT with 3GB RAM and an nVidia 7900GT with 256MB RAM running XP.

I'm having some very minor video stuttering, not clipping, with the HD-PVR.

I'm currently waiting on delivery on a new 8500GT with 512MB RAM.

Does anyone think that 8500 will tip the scales for this problem, or is there something else I should be doing? Different playback drivers than what was shipped with the HD-PVR? Using a different VMR?

I think it would be great if recurring recordings could be sorted in the order of the last recording. That way shows that may be in off season would end at the bottom of the list.

I got a ATI HDTV wonder PCI card.
When I try to scan for channels the card can't find any. I'm just try to scan for the channels that are available over the air.

I'm just wondering if anyone had a problem like that ?
and if there a fix for it

When I click on the pvr icon I'd like it to open and go to live tv of the last channel I was watching when I last closed it (not to the main menu). Possible?

(Well, the mode where if I click the right mouse button it goes back to the tv guide listings, maybe that isn't live tv, but the tv guide mode but watching a certain channel)

Interesting, I tried a couple more recordings after the intial problem and they all had time stamp issues, after installing the drivers I've made several with no issues.

Now my problem is getting the doggone Vista Media Player and Media Center to play xvids and avis <- I've been fighting that since last night when I discovered GBPVR doesn't play those files (I almost cried when I discovered that!).

It's frustrating when I can walk right over to my XP machine and play them fine but the darn Vista stubbornly refuses to give in to any codec, program, whatever I've tried!

Oh well, I'll keep hammering at it, worst case I just reload it . . . nothing like a machine with no important data on it!
