I have GBPVR working fine from a USB thumb drive. For some reason, I can't get it running from the share. Here are my modified files for the share:

I have tried editing the scripts twice now and cant seem to get this to work.

Questions:
3. Modify script.cgi and replace xx.xx.xx.xx to the IP address of your gbpvr server/mvpmc share.

is this the IP of the computer i am using?

5. Modify telnet.html in two places replacing EditMe with the name exactly as it is presented on the PCH Media Source screen.
Note The %20 is the space. Do not use the the name from the network share screen

%20 is the space, what dose that mean, do i delete it and replace with a space?

Ok I looked in the other threads for ''no picture'' and seems to be mux and mpg problems, so i checked with mux checker, says i have the cyberlink one, i checked with decchk, says i have 4 mpg ones, i selcted the nero one, i re-ran gpvr config and set that also to nero.

I still have no picture in live tv, i did a test recording and played it back, no picture. if i play the recording back in vlc, i have picture...

Is it possible for GBPVR to support the ADS Tech Instant TV DVB-S PTV-341 card? I have BDA drivers and see similar cards in the BDA.ini though the card is not listed as supported in the Wiki.

In another thread it seemed that if I ran FilterCheck it would collect enough information to put together a BDA.ini entry. Is that all that is necessary for support?

Now when I open CONFIG I cannot click on the ADD button to add my capture source.

I am trying to access the web admin from my Sprint Centro. I get to the login page enter my user name and password - hit login - and then it comes back and says my user name or password are incorrect.

The login works fine when i am on the local network with another computer.

Any ideas or suggestions?

hello all im new to all this and i have been looking at the forums here i just need a little help please

i have :Sky+ Set top box, vista64 ult and hauppauge 150.

what i have done:I have got the hauppauge remote to work with GB-PVR and when i change channial the red light flash on the ir bluster, but i think the problem is the sky + box do not understand wht the light is saying.

hip:: So i read on the forum about hip so I download 2.1.9.3b as this one is the newst one i could get to run in vista 64. so i set it up and the problem I have is, what do i select from alternate input device, in the list i have MCE ,TRA, IRman, HID, Generic , keybord.

ooh yes one more thing is hid working like this, I press say ch up on my remote and the GB-pvr change to say bb1 in sky that 102, so when gb-pvr press 102 hip converts it to the sky ir codes and sends it to the ir blaster.

I'm trying to map tilt wheel event (wheel-left, wheel-right, wheel-click) to certain functions in PVRX2 so that I can control key features without using remote controller. So far, things are quite satisfactory, but there are things that I don't understand or don't know how to. Here I'm asking a few questions.

1. I want to fire different keystrokes for tilt wheel events depending on which mode PVRX2 is in. Is it ever possible for other programs to know which mode PVRX2 is operating, like knowing if it's in LiveTV mode or TVGuide mode? Window title doesn't seem to change. Certain external files or anything indicating that?

2. Some keys seems to be hard-mapped, like Home key in LiveTV mode and TVGuide mode. Any chance to remap such keys? Or, is it possible to remap mouse events? (For example, I want to disable OSD popup from LiveTV when moving mouse, or I want to use right click for different features.)

3. I was thinking of doing the same thing for the web interface, but somehow enabling web interface option in the Config doesn't seem to be sufficient to make web interface working. What am I missing?

Also: my weather comes up as Wellington NZ - ? I tried changing this via the settings but when I go into Australia tab then South Australia tab it searches for cities and none come up - ? Helphttp://forums.gbpvr.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
I think this is also a problem in the EPG where only Melbourne Brisbane etc. comes up no Adelaide.
Someone to hold my hand and walk me through this would be great...

i have two PC, one successfully installed, the other one failed.
Both fresh installed winxp sp2 with .NET 3.5, so no GB-PVR previous version installed.
The failed one no PVR card in it.
Error message: " install ended prematurely because of an error"
Have installed C++ redist.
please help.

After a lot of fiddling i got the new PVRX2 to play back my tv from my happ. 150 pvr card, i had to use the happ audio and video decoders (Intervideo NonCSS Audio/Video Decoder for Happ.). All other including the nvidia decoder had sloppy low framerate and variable audio problems. Now that I got it working and am loving the features as compared to WinTV, it uses a great deal more CPU usage then WinTV did, but only on one of my monitors..

Both programs run about 10-12 cpu usage when playing, but when PVRX2 is running on my left monitor it jumps to 35-45 which is enough to not be able to play my game on my main monitor.

I did a search but couldn't find anything, so anything u can tell me would be great.
