I've just moved my HDD to another PC, a 1.6GHz Pentium 4. I ran Install then Repair from the XP-Pro CD to load any new drivers and Windows runs ok.
I then updated GBPVR to 1.2.9 from the prevoius version, the install ran without problems but now I can only get sound, there is no picture, this is on both the MVP and the PC monitor from any thing videod via the PVR-350 Composite from my Sky box.
Note: My second card is a Nova-T 500 and this functions correctly.
Non of the setting appear to have changed, it always used Composite 2, External Tuner, I've tried other settings but no change.
I setup I-xmltv and ran the configure application and I'm getting the following error message:
"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
This is happening when C:\I-xmltv\I-xmltv.exe is being called.
So is there anything I can do to make this work?
Have two separate PVR cards recording programs but now I want to watch live TV on a third program. So I go into the pending list and cancel one of the recordings. Now I try to watch live TV and GBPVR says I have no tuners available but the error box only shows the one remaining program still being recorded. I now exit gbpvr and open the recording service which shows one of the cards sleeping and one recording. I go back into gbpvr and get the same error. Now I exit gbpvr and do a restart of the recording service. Sometimes this fixes it but most of the time it does not. The only way I can resolve is to reboot the PC. I am using version 1.1.5.
Forgive me if this has been addressed already; I did do a search but could not come up with anything.
I have 2 pvr's each running an analog ATI 550 chipset. Their video feeds come staight from Comcast Cable, no converters. What am I looking at when the switch over occurs next Feb. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

SHORT: Is there a way to force windows to always wakeup in interactive mode?
LONG:
My GBPVR machine goes into standby when it is idle. When it resumes to start a recording, windows somehow knows the difference and does not activate the video output. I remember that I could move the mouse to get windows back on screen and fully interactive. Yesterday, it wouldn't wakeup, whatever I did. I moved the mouse, tried VNC and remote desktop, but it wouldn't come alive.
I therefore had to wait until all recordings were finished before I could use my machine again. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Recently I have had a situation where sometimes, but not always, when playing back a recorded program the program length bar (which is displayed if I pause the program) indicates that the program is much shorter than it actually is. For example, it might indicate the program is only 25 minutes long while it is really an hour long.
When this situation happens, I find that the Skip Forward and Skip Back functions get all confused and do not move ahead 1 minute or back 30 seconds respectively.
I have attached the GBPVRRecordingExe log because it is the only one that seems to have any relevant information. It certainly indicates that something is wrong.
When this situation happens, I notice that Real Player also indicates the incorrect duration for the MPG file if I play it back with that application.
I have two Hauppauge encoders, PVR-350 and PVR-150MCE. I thought that it might be a driver problem but I checked and have gotten "good" files from both tuner cards.
I styled the start page for GB-PVR just a tiny little bit to come off the prototype feeling, and since I have a little overscan on my telly in some modes the first line gets obscured. So here it is. Not pretty, but a start maybe. Should really need to dig in deeper to get a better visual apeal, but hopefully we can make this page obsolete or fully autoloading once Martin has linked the two-step start script to one step...
