I recently did a clean install of 99.12 with all the patches from the survival guide. I have a PVR 500 on cable, so I created 2 capure sources. I have set the channel frequencies in the registry, so my source channels run from 1 to 19 in the config app.
There are two channels that I cannot get XML TV data for so I added them in manually to both capure sources. However, I then end up with duplicate entries for these two channels in the channels tab and on the TV Guide.
Is there any way around this?
Ever since Daylight Savings Time went into effect last weekend, my TV Guide listings are all off by 1 hour. The system time on XP is correct (I had to manually change that) and GBPVR shows the correct time as well. All shows in the TV Guide, however, are a hour earlier than they should be. How do I fix this? Thanks.
Issue: I have to run the OnAir TV program briefly every time I restart the
computer or resume from standby. Otherwise, GBPVR fail to tune the OnAir
GT. I seem to remember the tuning mode of OnAirGT being set to over the
air by default and GBPVR cannot use it until the device is set to QAM by
te included TV program.
Can this problem be fixed on the GBPVR side? Thanks.
Forgot to mention I'm using 99.12 and the latest (3/17/07) OnAir driver.
The problem existed with the previous OnAir drivers.
I'm still setting up GBPVR on my new Media Centre PC, and it's going better than I thought it would!
But, when watching Live TV, if I move the mouse or use the Microsoft MCE remote (to change the volume, channel, etc.) the picture breaks up and stutters for around 5-10 seconds before returning to normal.
Anyone any ideas? I'm, using a Compro T200 card and the Nvidia graphics support built onto the Asrock motherboard.
Im still suffering with the MVP not responding to remote commands with 99.12, it seems to be after any number of button presses it locks-out the remote but keeps playing mp3, live tv or whatever. The only button that works is the green power button so I have to power it to standby then back on and all is fine again for a while.
I just installed GBPVR last night after trying snapstream for awhile. Heard about this PVR on one of their forums. I have installed the software and set it up to the best of my ability. Live Video on most channels (oddly enough, the etv channel works fine) is very bad. Skips all the time. Audio is fine and fairly in sink with video. But it is dropping alot of frames. I have a KWorld ATSC 110 card, 2.4ghz p4, GEForce 5200, 1gig ram. I have gotten the card to work fine for Snapstream, I just wanted to try out another software maker to see if there was anything better. My search so far has led me to think my problem may be with the multiplexer. When I run the BDA MUX Checker I get this error message "NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.
GB-PVR will not function correctly unless you have WinXP SP1 or higher, which has a built-in DVR-MS mux filter."
My question is , I am running XP SP2 with most of the recent updates, is there somewhere I can download this filter?
Just finished building my Media Centre PC and installed GBPVR. I thought I'd bought a lemon when I couldn't get my Compro T200 card to work, but have now managed and it works fine.
But.... the EPG is empty. I have it set to use the DVB guide rather than xmltv (as I just don't understand that yet), and it appears to download stuff and doesn't give any error messages. When I go into the guide all the channels are there down the left hand side of the screen, and the times along the top, but no details of the programs.
Can anyone help - attached are all the logs from my logs folder as I didn't know which ones would be relevant.
Unzip this attachment into the ../gbpvr/plugins/ubustream/dynsource folder and run ubuconfig.
Whilst the app is dynamic, it has the section url's hardcoded in the app. It would be ideal if the sections could be scraped from here, but with all that javascript on the page, it seems all too hard for a novice like I am.
