But how to get the recordings? Tried to change channel with recording but no luck.

I've been using XMLTV to retrieve my TV listings from Schedules Direct, but this week it was only providing a few days of listings.

So, I switched to using Schedules Direct directly in NextPVR which works fine, but it's only retrieving about 8 days worth of listings?  I thought the guide used to have about 14 days of listings.  Is there a way to change how many days of listings NPVR retrieves from Schedules Direct?

I can live with 8 days if needed, but it's nice to schedule ahead if I'm planning to go on vacation or something.

I am running v5 on Win 10 using a Hauppage WinTV-7.  After upgrading to v5, I am no longer able to record programming on the Chicago area PBS station via the TV guide.  If I programme a time and channel,I get the recording.  Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, my old pc crapped out so now I'm trying to get used to windows 10, new PC. I'm not very good with technical things But I did figure out that I had to install LAV decoders. Finally got it working but all channels, Live Tv within a minute start to freeze up. I end up having to close NextPVR then open it again. Any suggestions?

I could not initiate a recording from the guide with Jellyfin using the Nextpvr plugin. When attempting to start a recording from the guide there is a spinning color circle and it never stops. In this example I am using Linux for both the Jellyfin and NextPVR servers. The logs capture an attempt to start a recording from the Jellyfin web client guide.

After collecting the logs I decided to try to setup Jellyfin live tv with their DVR. The setup required selecting paths for the recording directories. I could successfully start a recording using their DVR. Then I deleted the Jellyfin DVR, restarted Jellyfin server, and went back to using the NextPVR plugin and I could start a recording without issue.

I wish there was a way to sort the recurring shows by name so if i have duplicates I can remove some.

I found after the last few months I have been or wife has been adding the same shows so we end up with the same show multiple times within the database.

If I had it alphabetical I could see them a lot easer then added by date added.

Is it possible to import a compressed (xml.gz) EPG guide? 

I have a source that is only in this format, I tried importing it but is not working because the file is compressed. I could unzip it and add it manually but then again I have to do more work around updating the EPG.

I am moving over to v5 from v4 and managed to get 1 device setup and working, is there an easier way to copy settings from one device to another or do i have to do a scan and then sort all the channels on every device?

I used the HDHR DVR Kodi addon in the past and it is able to display the available disk space on the main Recordings screen in Kodi (bottom right corner).  Could this be added for the NextPVR addon?

1) Fast-forwarding yields uncontrollable results.  The forwarding continues to the recording end at warp speed.  Did not have this issue a few months ago.

2) Comskip (v0.82.010) does not auto-process.  If I process manually, it works.  Log file says no edl file.  I thought I followed all the documentation.
