After upgrade from 5.0.7 to 5.0.8, neither presence of "<new />" or lack of "<previously-shown />" in xmltv.xml is recognized as identifying "New" episodes in the guide or for recurring recordings.
New to the forum but have been running NPVR v4 for a couple of years, great software so kudos to the devs!
I was glad to see that there's finally a version that runs on Linux but I can't seem to get acamd to work when I installed V5 along V4 on the same Windows server that I'm running today, I copied all the mdapi files so it was the same as V4 but is there anything else to it on V5? or is it just not supported? In that case it's very sad since that's a big dealbreaker :/
There is a problem with the app on Nvidia Shield: after selecting a program to record from the guide, it is not possible to navigate to either of the two "Record" options.
The Win10 box is running 4.2.5 and I have 2 USB DVB-T tuners that will not tune in to my local stations, despite both working fine on NextPVR 3.X on a previous Win 10 box, drivers supplied by a colleague.
The tuners appear in Win device manager as Winfast DTV Dongle Dual Device and Realtek 2832U Device, working correctly it says, and in NextPVR 4.2.5 devices as Winfast DTV Dongle Dual Device 1&2 and Realtek DTV Filter.
I connect RF, device setup, select country and region AU/MEL, hit scan and both tuners fail to find any stations. I suspect it may be a driver issue, however these were to only drivers I could find, the old Win10 box long gone.
I'm tearing my hair out here (what little remains) as this compact box will not accept pci-e tunercards and usb tuners are the only option. If someone suggest alternative drivers or suggest a solution I'd be must grateful
Recently I found PlutoIPTV-master project on GitHub which generates epg.xml and playlist.m3u8 for Pluto IPTV, after installing Node.js
The channel list and the epg were read successfully by NPVR but unfortunately, when playing a channel, things start going haywire once an advert starts. Just wondering if anyone has had better luck integrating Pluto TV into NPVR.
I built the latest version of NextPVR server on Docker, on my NAS. From web UI, I can access the port 8866 and everything is working fine. The recordings and live TV, no problem. I even tested the access to NextPVR on another device and again remotely, no issue.
However, when I open my Apple TV on my LAN, it cannot find my server. Despite the fact that my PC or my browser on my iPad are accessing the server and my NAS just fine.
No idea what's happening. Before, when my NextPVR server was on Windows, my Apple TV was able to see it. Now, it cannot see...I don't know...my NAS?
My Colossus 2 gave up the ghost today so I need something new. It's a real pain dealing with an internal card. Would the HD PVR 2 be of the way to go or would something else be better in conjunction with nextpvr? Thanks
I’m not a computer or TV person. I have no clue what I’m doing. I have Windows 7 on my desktop. I have a Hauppauge WinTV DCR 2650 connected to the local cable provider with their cable card. Cable provider is Charter/Spectrum. I have used Windows Media Center for years for watching and recording TV. This has worked great for me. Now Windows 7 is no longer supported and I can’t get TV guide.
For weeks I have been trying to get something to work. I have tried Kodi, MediaPortal, Lav filters, HDHomeRun, NextPVR, EPG123, I have downloaded so many applications that my hard drive is getting full. I’m at wits end.
I have written to Hauppauge and they suggested NextPVR and HDHomeRun. Both work and both show all my channels but neither show anything in TV guide.
Is there anything I can do to get a TV guide to work on my system?

Status Code is 200 for both requests.
Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug.

I set up the NextPVR on a NAS and used Portainer to do it. I open the log-in page in browser and my log in credentials are not working. I have previosly used NextPVR on a PC and I have no problems login in through web app on that machine. But on my NAS, the same credentials are not working. I tried updating my password to no success on NAS. The new password is working on PC but not on NAS.
