I am having problems getting the configuration to recognize my Hauppauge WinTV USB2. I looked on the forums and only saw Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2, but mine doesn't say pvr. I went ahead and tried many of the suggestions and nothing has worked. This is what I have: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_usb2.html. I get an error that no known cards are detected. Any suggestions?
Hopefully this is the right place to post this, I did a search and didn't come up with anything recent so I figured wishlist instead of support. Is there any way to do slow motion on a recording? The reason I ask is KFC has now embedded coupons in their commercials that can only be seen by re-running them in slow motion. I expect Taco Bell will be next. They've done this in an effort to combat DVR's and their ability to skip through the commercials.
I am currently looking to upgrade my Video card. I use Tv-out. There are a few cards out there that can do Mpeg encoding, as apposed to the intergated TV encoder. Witch would be better for me? Or is the TV encoder included with the Mpeg cards? I use Games with GBPVR on my tv. I have heard that the 350 cards cant do this. This is why I ask. I dont want to buy a new card with Mpeg support and then not be able to play the games!
I was looking at my taskmanager and noticed that the GBPVR recording service uses about 55,000 K of ram and the GBPVR tray uses about 15,000 K. Is that the norm? I don't have any shows scheduled for recording or anything. :confused:
not sure if this question is best here or in the plugins forum, but here it goes...
i'm using the microsoft dvr-ms mux on the advice of various people as it's supposed to be the most tolerant of poor signals. i then want to use videoredoplus (started from postprocessing.bat) to remux the records to fix any broken timeline issues. the problem is that this outputs mpg files - if i set the output extension to .dvr-ms i can't play the files, if the extension is mpg they play fine. i don't mind them being converted to mpg files, but i need a way of changing the filename in the database. does anyone know if there's a plugin/utility that can do this? i've have a look at renamerecordings and recordingsmanager but they don't seem to have this functionality. any ideas?
just upgraded 96.8, Net radio is not working, the links just tries to connects and then nothing. It used to work in previous versions. Tried the shoutcast website and am able to play shoutcast using winamp. Am i missing something?
I've noticed that the version of the MVP that I have is flawed to the extent that colour rendition is not very good; almost as if it has a dark film over the the image. I've read over at SHSPvr forum that this is a common hardware fault and isn't fixable through dongle updates etc.
Whilst I expect that I can fix this to an extent by modifying the recordings, I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a more elagant way using GBPVR?
Presently the transcode button starts a transcode but at normal priority, could this be changed to low priority (or choice) so that even when started asap, it doesn't causes contention with other active processes.
