I can't get this to work, nor have I seen any postings about this...

I have two retail PVR-150s (not mce's) in my computer - each with a remote/ir blaster attached. The input to both cards are S-video from DirecTV recievers (model DirecTV D-10).

Both cards capture video correctly, but only the blaster for the first card works (both remote control and blaster for the satellite box). Anytime GB-PVR wants to change the channel, the blaster for the first card is activated, and the channel is changed on the first satellite box (even if the channel should have been changed on the second satellite box). :mad:

Is there a way to get two Hauppauge IR blasters to work in the same system, or do I need a different type of blaster for the second card?

Can anyone recommend a blaster that works with GB-PVR (with IR, not serial)?

I had the episode and thought I had already archived it and deleted it. I've been keeping all of the Sesame Street episodes with various bands. Can someone point me how ot get it? I was hoping to makea compilation for my daughters 2 year birthday next week.

I have never used bit torrrent...is it time to get it? Is there any security risks with it? Or do I just not enable file sharing of my own files to decrease security risks.

Also, where would i go to find episodes like this?

Has anyone gotten Girder 4 to work as a channel changer?

There were apparently quite a few changes between Girder 3 and 4.

The latest word on this I could find was here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=8429.

Which wasn't very promising..Girder 4 uses a different API than 3, which GBPVR doesn't support. :-(

I've tried several times, but at best, it doesn't work and at worst GB-PVR locks up.

I got an error after installation, i cannot run config.exe, i cannot run gbpvr.exe

the log is in attach.

If I install the program on my laptop all is ok, on my desktop i got this error.
The 2 pc have WinXP prof with SP2.

How can i solve the problem?

Is ther any way to use my sound card as an audio input for gbpvr, either with a video source or not. Basically I want to be able to control itunes via my pda, and then use the sound card wave input (or general output) to feed into gbpvr, which will then stream to my MVP.

Is this possible, as in the capure sources all capture cards seem to handle the audio on board, but i'm thinking there must be an option or plugin to allow for live audio.
I don't mind if I have a black square on my tv where video should go.

I am pretty new to all this, i have been using GBPVR on my PC for the past couple of weeks and it all has been working fine, recording from the schedule etc, then in the past couple of days my recordings are just completely blank, creating large files but there is no sound or picture. I have no idea why this is happening, i am using a Nova-T card and are using the latest MUX's posted on here, the ones downloaded from twinhan. Can anyone help me as i am at a complete loss to what is happening. This is what is put in one of the log files, hope this helps (i only recorded for a couple of minutes to see if it worked)

First of all, Gbpvr really rocks.

I do have a problem, hence this thread.
When i do a manuel epg update Gbpvr takes about 45 min to load it.

I use xmltv and have 16 channels loaded. It doesn't matter wether it contains 1 or 7 days, gbpvr takes about the same time updating the epg.

During this update gbpvr uses only about 1-4% cpu.

I am strugling with updating the epg when a the timing of a program changes. I download 6 days ahead (xmltv) and sometimes the start or end time of a show changes within these 6 days. GBPVR then keeps the old timing in the schedule.

I ran a number of tests:
- complete epgreload = true in the config app has no effect the old timings stay
- manually emptyepg and reload after that solves the problem for all changed programms except for those with scheduled recordings
- deleting the recording solves this problem again (after empty + reload), but only when it is a manual recording. A reoccuring recording will keep the old timing even if the particular recording instance has been deleted
- deleting the reoccuring recording and the prticular instance + empty + reload gives the right timing
- manually editing the database also gives the right timing

I checked the xmltv source and that has the right timings after updating (I can not check whether it originally was wrong and in which way as the files have been overwritten automatically).

When the epg is emptied GBPVR keeps the scheduled recordings and they are still visible in GBPVR itself.

Is this a bug in GBPVR or am i doing something wrong?

My pvr machine has two logins on it. When I have rebooted the machine and my wife happens to login before me, the Slimmgbpvr and MVPTrayIcon utilities run on her account. Then, if I login, it causes problems, plus multiple copies running taking up memory.

I have noticed when you install some apps it asks whether it should be only for this account or for all on this computer. Since these utils don't have that in the setup, how can I limit them to running on one account?
