I use a MediaMVP and find it quite slow and unresponsive. For instance, I press the skip forward button, nothing happens, I press the fast forward button, it jumps, then fast forwords, or sometimes does nothing again. Press the skip forward again, it tends to skip twice.... ahhhh.:mad:

I've just installed this on my kids PC:

Radeon 9700pro
Twinhan DVB-T
DX9.0c


And it's working fine, except the only way I can get the onscreen display is to use overlay manager.

This works, but the live tv image is fixed to 4:3 so the image looks wrong.

Setting to VM7 or 9 and the image looks OK, but we loose the OSD..

I noticed this in the Recordings plugin.

If I open "Ready" in the Recordings plugin I get a list with two lines each (Title and "Last Recordings"). If I use the mouse (simulating touch screen) and try and click the last items Title, the entry above get's selected. I have to click on the "Last Recording" to select the "correct one".

This is only affecting the last four entries.

How to skip, fast forward, and resume in gbpvr with the hauppauge remote (45 button).

Hi sorry if this has been asked I took a look and did not see much about it.
Question is will a show that is set to season record fail if the EPG did not update?

I have NCIS set to record season and have not had a problme for about a month. Yesterday it did not record and the only thing I could notice is that the EPG did not update. Would this have been the problem?

Sorry if this has been posted before, I have searched the archives to no avail. I recently installed the myvideos plugin (very nice btw) and everything is functioning fine except for the get info function. The plugin queries me for the name (by popping up the keyboard) and seems to download the information. But as it goes to store it I get the following error:

object reference not set to an instance of an object


Any suggestions? Are there any logs that I can gather to help debug this issue?

hi is there a way i can put the frequency of the channel because in my country we use different freq like dscaler have a file were i can input the freq in hz, is there something like this in gbpvr?

Seems like a simple question - but...

I have an MVP which has the old 35 button remote - and a pvr150 which came with the newer 45 button remote. I want to use the 45 button remote witht he computer, and the 35 button remote with the MVP.

So in the GBpvr config file - do I set the program to work with the 45 button or the 35 button remote?

Good morning everyone.
Every time a scheduled recording kicks off i get the errors i have attached for your review. When i check recordings pending it shows as Recording but never stops. When i play the file while its recording i can only watch about 5 minutes before it goes to a blank screen. this is happening on the current version and the previous version of GBPVR. I have also noticed that when i update the EPG from ZAP2it that my CPU gets maxed out. i have to restart the pc just to clear the recordings because i am not able to restart the recording service. This is a new PC build. im starting to think it may be a hardware issue. Any thoughts?

I am not able to get my attachment working but the error i am getting is the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe:

click OK to trerminate
click cancel to debug

when i click on cancel it tells me that there is no debugger

My current setup:
AMD Sempron64 3300+, PVR 150 (latest drivers), EVGA 6600GT (latest drivers), 1GB, wireless G and 550 PSU.

I just thought I would report that the NES Emulator FCE Ultra works perfectly with the myprograms plugin with the standard "%ROM%" parameter. Plus it supports almost every game in my personal collection - great emulator. This should be added to the list if possible.
