I’m having difficulty using the DVD2MPEG plugin. It always stops after renaming the AC3 audio file and before BeSweet is run.

I would like to run the process manually but need some help determining what the various variables in the command lines are? I have the first two figured out and they work correctly but I think I am doing something wrong with the variables in the last two. Also a post of a log file that completed successfully might help.

Hi,

I have a small problem with this great and wonderfull program but I have no idea how to fix it.

Short description:

In the EPG file I have a certain nr of stations and they appear all without any problem in the TV-GUIDE.

When I start GBPVR and goto the Live TV, I see these channels that has an EPG correctly but one is giving me only noise and no picture, although in the TVguide, i see the data
If I use the hauppauge WinTV2000 program, I have a perfect signal for that channel.
The channel nr are in the EPG (see picture) are completely in line with the channel order in WINTV2000. (Don't know if this is really needed)

So my question, how get this 1 channnel working.

I am trying to get GB-PVR to work with TwinHan DBB-T+CI.
My problem is that when trying to Map channels to EPG, nothing happends.
Some times I get a dialog box asking me where the config file is. But this box just stops responding when trying to click in it.
Version of GB-PVR is 0.91.11, it worked ok whit version 0.91.05
Running on Windows XP SP2
Any one with some ideas?

Solved the problem!
Install the Cyberlink MPEG Muxer. That solved my problems.

I'm discovering GB PVR which I intend to use with my Nova-t (90002) and my xcard.

I have 2 PC at home :
- main PC, used to do all current things including Internet,
- secondary PC, as a divx box & digital recorder, located under television.

All my Nova-t and Xcard are in the secondary PC.

This secondary PC is not connect to internet.
I don't need and I don't want to connect it to Internet.


BUT, as I see in GB PVR, I have a Problem !
It seems that I cannot have GB PVR to create the channel list without using an EPG XML file which have to connect to internet to retreive TV programs.
I'm I correct to this point ?

I intended to use GB PVR just to see live TV, not for doing any EPG recording.

Is there any simple method to ask GB PVR to just create the channel List without having to ruin my poor brain with things like xlmtv, and without having to connect to internet ?

Today i did a fresh install of GBPVR v. 9.111.
My audio recordings for divx are still in MP2 format.
The recording log shows the error
GO7007SBPreferMP3Audio - ConnectFilters:Failed(2).

Does anybody know what is wrong?
I used the Sherlock Codec detective and my mp3
codecs shows up all fine.

By the way I still get the following error

Can anybody help.
I have after using three different DVB-T boxes managed to get one that hopefully works with this PVR.
I have the latest NOVA-T USB2. I have managed to map the channels but when I click on live TV I get "can not load hcwIRBlast.dll".
I found through searching the forum that I need to change to "no channel changer" which I did, now I get "channel tuning information not known".

So now am stuck, any ideas?

I've been experimenting with the new scheduling algorithms in the newest release, and they look good. I've noticed that if I have one show recording on a channel, and wish to record the following show, it will use both tuners during the overlap, which is pretty cool.

The only furthur suggestion I could make is in the situation where I then want to record a third show.

Let me try to explain:

Channel A 12:30-1:00 1:00-1:30
Channel B 1:00-1:30

All have the usual 1 minute pre, 2 minutes post padding.

Now, what I saw GB-PVR do at 12:59 was have both tuners on Channel A. At 1:00, one of them switched to Channel B. Which is great: I didn't miss anything, but the show on Channel B didn't get any pre-padding, which maybe it could have, since there wasn't exactly any need to be recording Channel A twice.

Make sense? At 12:59, the show on Channel B could have started its pre-padding, and the show on A would just stay normal. At 1:00, the show on A would switch files to the new show...basically, the shows on A would lose their post padding and pre padding when they run up against each other, which is fine, because the padding exists in the other file.

Maybe this is just too silly.

I am thinking of purchasing a IR receiver/controler for my PC. I'm new to this so I dont really know what to get or where to get it from. Do I need Girder also for GBPVR or do I just need to order the USBIRT unit. Also what is the additional 56Mhz for on the USBIRT. Are there any good shops in the US to get it from?

I was able to repeat this problem last night. If I schedule a show from within Guide2J by clicking on "Advanced" it won't turn red on the grid.

I can easily work around it by scheduling non-advanced and then editing it. So it isn't a big deal. But I wanted to see if other people had this problem too.

Hello GB-PVR community.
The GB-PVR program is great. Wow this will allow some awesome applications. I am really looking forward to getting this working properly. I have several questions that numerous searches on this forum could not answer.
I have loaded the GB-PVR software and everthing seems to be working fine, plays music & videos and the program guide is there etc. When I try to go to live tv the MVP drops out and goes to contacting server. I then get a message on my computer that says "Debug assertion failure" etc. I must then restart gb-pvr mvp server to get the GB-PVR back up on my MVP.
When I installed GB-PVR I removed my hauppauge mvp software but not any of the wintv 2000 software. Should this be removed at all or in part, or modified?
My hardware:
Directv Hughes receiver (not sure if the IR blaster is working w/ gbpvr)
MVP
hauppauge PVR-150
Asus motherboard A7V8X-X
AMD Duran 800mhz
128mRam
3Com nic (I am using this instead of on board nic due to earlier issue with mvp droping out when playing recorded video)
The mvp is hooked up to a linksys router BEfSR41
I have the video output of the mvp modulated and integrated into my house cable system and the audio connected to the whole house audio system. This allows me to view the mvp on any tv in the house. It is controlled by my house audio system with integrated IR repeater. Anybody could achieve the same with a $50.00 IR repeater and a $50.00 modulator.
I have been thinking about upgrading my ram and processor.
Any feed back would be most appreciated.
