Is it possible for for the next release for DVD2MPEG to recognize and convert all espisodes on a DVD (i.e. Sopranos Season 2 Disk 1 etc.) and not just convert the first episode on the disk?

I have just installed .91.05, which probably has no relavence, as this has been happening since I started using GB-PVR. Anyway....

When I setup to record a whole season of a show in a timeslot, GB-PVR wants to record all showings on that channel in any timeslot. When I look at the recurring setup for the show under the recording menu, it shows as timeslot, but the detail for the show shows as all showings on the channel.

Is this a known bug, or do I have a setup issue?

Hi. I tried to add all the extra channels that we have in the UK apart from the normal 5. I tried to add BBC3 and 4 and ITV 2 and 3. I like to use XMLTV Radio Times becuase it gives about 14 days listing. Trouble is when I do I get Object reference not set message. I can go into Manual record and step through the channels and then go back into EPG and I get in without an error. However all the extra channels that I have added are blank and repeated. Is there a way round this? Do I need to flush the database? I tried empty EPG and that did not do it. Also I tried the Bleg TV and it just stuffed up my EPG becuase I got a mix of XMLTV and bleg Help!!!!!!!!!

Please please help us solve this issue.

This is the only problem that is serious for me to dump the program, so I think we should dig into this and get it solved.

This time I recorded 3 programs in a row and the first one got short.

18:00 - 18:10 Nyhederne og sporten. Got cut after nearly 5 minutes
18:10 - 18:15 Regionale nyheder. OK
18:15 - 18:25 Vejret. OK

I use the hauppauge pvr usb2, so there is no interrupt conflict and Im recording to a nearly empty newly defragmented harddisk.

Win XP SP1, Directx 9.0b, Athlon 1700+, 256MB ram, 160 GB HD. Using GBPVR 0.905.

Yesterday I ordered two MVP from Hauppauge and have started to configure my GB-PVR server.

Now suddenly I realize that it would be very convenient if one of my DigiFrames could run as a MVP.

That is, during idle it will continue displaying images but when activated it will show the menu from the GB-PVR server.

The digiframe is bascially a stripped laptop with a 500Mhz intel processor and 128Mb of RAM.

How can I get this computer to pretend it's a MVP, or are there other ways to create an GBPVR client?

I've developed an experimental scheduler that uses Bayes technology to "guess" what shows the user is interested in and is able to add it to gbpvr.mdb.

It learns by using the shows that are scheduled manually by the user (and the shows that are not scheduled in this time frame)...

Is anyone interested to try?

When I'm playing back a recording the ff & rw remote buttons reset the mvp server. Also, when viewing the GBPVR main menu, pressing the back button will reset the server.

Sub - when mapping digital channels to EPG ones it would be useful to have a checkbox or similar to tell it NOT to attempt to identify which channel should go where automatically.

The reason I say this is that certain Freeview channels only broadcast at certain times of the day so to properly setup my tuning/EPG, I have to do two separate scans. Unfortunately, on the second scan, whichever channels aren't currently transmitting (but were correctly mapped on the first scan when they were transmitting) get overwritten with incorrect channel information.

I can see it's a useful function if someone has loads of channels to map but my XML EPG only has 18 and only 13 of those get mapped to the digital cards so it doesn't take me too long to do it manually.

Is gbpvr meant to run in mvp mode as a service?

Im sure it used to, but there is only a recording service, as soon as i log off the server my mvp dies and sits there 'contacting servers'

probably missing something obvious here, but whats the best way to get my mvp working without having someone logged onto my server (2003)
