So last week I changed to the BlueMCE2 skin which I absolutely love. So at that time I had to update to the newest weather in order for the plugin to work. Since then I have to exit out of GBPVR and restart the program in order for the weather to download the latest weather information.
I never had to do that with the standard blue skin and older weather plugin. Has any one else had this issue and how did they resolve it? Would it be the plugin itself or the new skin? What triggers it to look for newer weather info?
I'm a newbie! Â However, I'm only about half idiot, [ ], so I did a search in reference to this error prior to posting and couldn't find anything that specifically addresses how to resolve this error.
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" is what I get when I try to skip forward in a recording.
Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.
A bit of info on the machine running the application, [it's only purpose is GBPVR - ]. Â Boiled down, this is what it's got.
Hardware/Software:
Celeron 850, 512mb ram, DVD-R, 40GB HDD, WinTV PVR 150, MSI Thin PC model "MS-6215"/motherboard "MS-6351" w/ on board sound and video. Â The OS is Windows 2000 Pro w/ Service Pack 4. Â [It's not the most fantastic setup in the world but it's all I could afford! ]
Finally, here's the text of the "GBPVR.exe.log" which, if I understood correctly, is where the root of the problem would be shown and could be interpreted by others.

With a PVR-350, can i run GB-PVR fullscreen on the tv output and still have my desktop free on my video card? This will be the deciding factor in my hardware purchase.
If I knew how to code, I guess I wouldn't be asking. I'm wondering if it would be possible to make the weather plugin retrieve information from mytelus.com. This site has info for some smaller communities that msnbc doesn't.
I used DVD Shink to create an ISO image of my DVD. I have configured and installed daemon tool for ISO playback. When I play the ISO through the gbpvr/videos, I get the picture but no audio.
I have tried to change to various Audio Decoder and Audio Renderer from the DVD config tab but still have not been able to get the audio to come through.
I have no problem playing back mpeg2 files recorded from the capture 250 capture card. I am using GBPVR V0.90.10.
I have verified that the ISO image is ok. by playing it on another PC and I got both the picture and the sound with no problem.
I did complete sys re-do, and as always, 9 things are better and there is 1 new problem.
If I hold down the volume button, I lose the remote. If you press-press-press, it seems ok. The remote is set to + (I also just changed to ++, so a single press is worth more, since I can't mash)
It's an odd glitch, and not crying for help. Just wondering if it's one of those things someone has heard of/fixed.
I have GBPVR working real nice for me now, and one of the last things I would like to try is to play AVIs over the MVP. What are my choices on plugins that can do this? I have some AVIs that are captures from my digital 8 camcorder, and I have some DIVX/XVID tv episodes that look better than what I record myself (They are HD captures).
I've got an Adaptec videoH AVC2310 USB Tuner. I've set it up correctly and it works ok with the intervideo software that came with it. When I try and tune in the channels through the tuning assistant, I get an error message saying  'connect pins failed' - then 'failed to connect pin name crossbar audio decoder out to pin name capture analogue audio in'. It runs through the tuning assistant and stops at frequencies it finds channels (no video), then crashes when I try and use it to record or watch live Tv.
I've been using GB-PVR with my Hauppauge PVR250 without any problems and would be grateful for some help.
Hi all
Im using GBPVR over my network with my MVP and Im using the MyVideos plugin.
My movies are mostly avi (more than likely Divx). When I try and play a movie the progress bar shows that the movie is only 1 second long, then the screen goes blank and im sent back to the list of movies but im unable to use the remote. This is happening every time i try and play an avi.
Is anyone else having these problems?
I would rather use GBPVR than the software bundled with the MVP.
