I have gotten USB-UIRT to sucessfully control GB-PVR and my Scientific Atlanta 2000 cable box. Â I'm using a URC-6131 remote to accomplish this. Â I'm having an issue where the remote quits responding in GB-PVR. Â I can issue keyboard commands and GB-PVR still responds. Â It's like the USB-UIRT just quits talking to GB-PVR. Â The LED still blinks as I'm trying to control GB-PVR.
I've had this happen in the main menu and while browsing the on screen guide while watching TV.
The only buttons I've seen this with are the buttons used to navigate through the menus (Up, Down, Right, Left)
Here is my log...I do notice an Error near the bottom that seems to corrspond with what it going on, but I'm not sure what it means. Â Hope someone can help me. Â Thanks!
I asked this a while back but maybe someone has found a way to do it. Is there any way to render a html page with GBPVR? The hauppauge software shows html pages on the MVP and with a bit of fiddling you can create pages to do other things. Any way to get GBPVR to do this? If not, would it be possible to get GBPVR to quit and start the hauppauge software with a button press (then I would just have to figure out how to make the reverse happen)?
New user to the My Music plugin. Was playing around with it (I like what I see; definetly going to be a replacement for the Music Library) and I was wondering how you get the album art to display (i.e. where do you place the picture file?). Does the picture file have to be in a special format, size, etc? And just curious, where's the best place to get album art? Or will I have to scan in the covers of all my CDs?
I have the pixelview playtv@P7000, and I cant seem to get the card to work. Could some one please talk me thru the settings under the configuration setting?
And is there online TV Guide for this program for New Zealand?
Thanks.
When adjusting the volume it would be nice to see a moving bar from say left to right indicating that the volume is being increased or decreased. When the mute button is pressed a nice little icon to depict that the sound is muted
when i try to watch videos in my videos section, gbpvr more times than not freezes after a fast forward or skip forward / reverse. anyone know how to fix this? sometimes after a few seconds the video comes back, but sometimes it freezes the whole gbpvr application.
This tool, when added to your PostProcessing.bat file (ideally AFTER comskip.exe), allows you to access approximately 20 program-related fields, including show title, description, number of commercial breaks found by comskip, etc.
Configuration of RecInfo is set via the included RecInfo.cfg file, by which you can customize a detailed email message to be sent (via the auth-SMTP server you have access to) with numerous details about the just-completed recording. Â In order to use this feature, you MUST add your SMTP info to the config file.
Also, via its config file, you can specify a shell command for RecInfo.exe to execute that includes any of the variables that RecInfo makes available to you.
Finally, using the included free tool "MediaInfo.exe" (see http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net), RecInfo will report data about the actual .mpg file (currently only playing/duration).
I created this tool basically because I wanted to be able to assure my wife that her shows actually did record correctly and in full (without actually having to examine each one manually).
Here's a sample of the email that RecInfo now sends to me:

Please post comments/suggestions/problems here and I'll do my best to get this release out of beta ASAP.
first of all: Thanks to sub for this great pice of software! And thanks to all the guys developing these great plugins. After playing around with it for 2 weeks and getting everything running I installed a new 160GB HD for recordings. I moved all recordings to this HD and updated the paths in the Config (I checked the config.xml - they also got properly saved). But still they do not show up in Recordings nor in XRecord (v. 18, just installed).
I am a bit lost now, how to tel gbpvr, that the recordings are all there under the new path.
