Since I upgraded from 0.23.8 to 0.23.11 my remote control has stopped working. It works OK in WinTV. I have tried different combinations in the Misc tab of the config program (including "Use direct access" and changing to the MCE model), all to no avail.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Sorry to start a new topic again but as I can't seem to reply to my own earlier posting of "Which IR Blaster" I have to ask the question again, 'Does anybody know where I can order "UIRT IR Blaster" for my pvr-150 in Europe (I know its not supported by gbpvr yet but I assume it will be in the near future) ?
Is anybody else having a problem replying to thier own threads? (I'm logged in OK and everything)
I'm using Hauppauges WinTV-Software on my pc, but gbpvr on my media-mvp's.
When WinTV is open, when GBPVR start LIFE-TV or Recording, GBPVR can't connect to the video-card.
It would be nice, if gbpvr can do some actions like "CLOSE WINTV" before recording.
I just discovered GBPVR and I think it is a great piece of software. Unfortunately, it does not support my TV card. I was wondering if there are plans to support TV cards with WDM drivers at some point in the future. If so, I sure will stay tuned and anxiousely wait for that day.
i have 2 mediamvp connected to the tv in different rooms.
both are connected to the same network.
with the original software from hauppauge everything works fine.
does your mvp mediaserver supports 2 or more mediamvp?
I know that you have shortcuts to skip commecrials, but for the sake of argument pretend I'm really lazy. Have you given any though to having a setting that just auto-skips the commercials detected by comskip entirely? It would be so nice to just start a show and then sit back and watch it sans commericals. Keep up the good work, everyone around me is sick of hearing about how cool GBPVR is!
I realize this is probably a low priority, but I'd like to see some controller/command mapping options where I could choose which key sequence caused a specific function...
The reason I ask is I would prefer the commercial skip to use another sequence instead of the 0-skip. To me, hunting for the 0 and then the skip is not that convenient as maybe just pressing the skip button twice or maybe using the "Go" button to just go past the commercials...
I'm using the MediaMVP with the included Hauppauge IR controller. Just a thought.
i wonder if i found a little bug in latest version .2311
i want to record a show every sunday between 11:00 and 12:00 (no epg).
using manual recording, time "sunday" and mode "every week" does not work.
using mode every sat&sun works but i have to remove the pending entry for saturday.
what is wrong?
Can someone please tell me if I'm right in my understanding that GB-PVR supports the above blaster for transmitting channel changes to cable boxes but does not support using it to control the application.
