Does anybody know how to adjust the brightness or contrast settings on the MVP? Im not sure what to think i have to darken my custom Backgrounds because they appear to light> then when watching live Tv or Recorded program things get to dark and over saturated. Anyone with the same problems and have a solution?
- Currently when you go back to the recording window your cursor goes back to the top each time. It would be nice to have it remember your location in the list. This way when your done watching a recording and want to remove it you don't have to scroll through and re-find the recording to delete it.
- Would be nice if you press play during playback that the OSD pops back up showing you where you are in the recording. I find it nice to know how much of a show is left. Also to know where the commercials are. Dunno why it's just habbit I guess.
- Add Play Shortcut... When in the recordings screen, if you press Play, the recording should start playing. Don't make us go to a sub menu just to click play.
I have a Hauppauge PVR350 card and i have been using your software now for about a month for tv recording etc. however when i try to get the radio to work i get a error message. any ideas?

Also how do i get music files to play through the Hauppauge PVR350 card so i can listen to music through my tv (it only comes from the soundcard)
I can't seem to watch a TV show while recording it at the same time.
Plus I can't Rewind or Fast Forward on the fly while watching Live TV.
But I can pause.
If I watch a recorded mpeg then RWD and FF work fine.
Is this normal or am I missing a step some where? Â
FYI, AMD XP 2200+, 512MB Ram & PVR350 for Svideo TV-out.
I have a system running a pvr350 and a Xcard.
Using the pvr350 for capturing and the xcard for displaying(got tired of the buggy TV drivers for the 350).
The problem I have is when I want to watch a recorded program or liveTV, the sound starts out with max volume for 1sec and then reverts to 50% off that.
What I can tell this only happens with the SPDIF and gbpvr.
I have checked all the volumes settings and all is maxed out.
Anyone with the same problem?
Is there any volume settings for the gbpvr?
I'm lacking all knowledge regarding the MVP since I don't have one myself. Â Therefore I'd like to get help with filling the MVP section of the wiki manual.
So, If you know how to operate the MVP and would like to share that information please do.
I have just downloaded GB-PVR and installed it and several plugins.
I registered at the Zap2It Labs site and my account there seems to be working as I changed my password, updated listing, etc. However, I cannot download the EPG. Every attempt it times out and says it is not configured correctly. I have double-checked my username and password.
When I try to watch Live TV, only the first channel (channel 2) shows up and none of the keyboard shortcuts nor the Hauppauge remote work.
I have manually added about half of my lineup (via the "Add" button in EPG settings) and they show up with their channel numbers plus ninety-seven in the "Channels" tab of the config screen.
I did not install any of the software that came with the card, only the drivers.
Please help me resolve this problem.
OS: WinXP SP2
Card: Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250
After I make a change to a data directory the installer
tries to re-install, thus undoing what I just did.
For example, I wanted to get rid of the default .pls files
in the Net Radio folder and add my own. Once I delete the
old files and re-run GB-PVR, the installer starts looking for
the .msi file.
