I know there's a couple threads about the PVR-150 card already but before I actually order one, let me ask again...the PVR-150 will be supported in the next release...is that correct?
Does that apply to the PVR-150MCE too?
Or is there any difference? The specs on the Hauppauge page look identical for the 150 and 150MCE, so I think it's the same card...the 150 comes with remote & software while the 150MCE includes only MCE drivers...but anyone know for sure?
Looks like the 150 and 500 use the same drivers...the 500 is two 150's...
This is my first attempt, so it's still a little quirky and not completely finished, but have released it as a few people wanted an example of implementing the IInfoPanel.
I appologise if I haven't done it all correctly, but it is quite confusing looking through the plugins to work out what to do as most of them do it differently.
Comments/suggestions are welcome.
Next version will have temp/fan speeds (hopefully) and maybe the config screen so you can choose what goes on the InfoPanel, if I get enough time.
Is it correct that GB-PVR needs to have internet access in order to function?
If I block internet access in ZoneAlarm then the MediaMVP cannot display Live TV (error message: No connection to recording service). As soon as I allow internet access and restart the recording service, everything is fine...
Why is internet access necessary? What is being sent or received?
Can anyone help think of a very simple icon/logo that represents NET Radio distinctly from FM Radio. Something, for example, that could be incorporated into a graphic that looks like its etched into a steel plate or carved into wood?
Got one? No how about icons for all the other plugins too.....
I am using a USBUIRT to control my PACE NTL box, my problem is that any channels that end with a zero are not working, only the first two didgets appear, ie when changing to channel 140 the NTL box only gets 14 so doesn't change the channel.
Have I got a setting wrong somewhere , if so what is it ?
This is just a minor annoyance, but I find that the Comskip files for a recording are not deleted when the recording is deleted. They must be deleted manually.
I am sure I must be doing something silly here, but when I set the config options to *not* enable closed captioning (i.e., I don't check the box) and I set my perferred aspect ratio as letterboxed, somehow GBPVR seems to ignore both of these options.
I get a squished movie (1.85 morphed into a 1.33 box) that has closed captions that will not go away.
GB-PBVR is a great piece of software, so I'd like to give something back to this community. There have been talks about creating a manual, but I have not heard of any results yet.
So, I have started a wiki site, concentraiting on documentation of GB-PVR. I have not come far yet, but would like to inform you about it, so you can tell me if anyone already done this, or If you think I should proceed or dump the idea.
My intention was to start crawling this forum and gather the scattered information together.
I have been having trouble getting the theater listing plugin to work. It is looking for a theaters.xml file that is not included in any of the zip files. In looking at the source there is also reference to addressbookdb.xml which is in the address plugin. Could you point me in the right direction.
