I've been trying all the various HTPC programs and this one is very nice indeed.
But I can't use it because it doesn't support DVB-T yet! I have two Nova-T cards ready and waiting to plug in!
I checked the forum for info on this but couldn't find much. Apologies if it's in here somewhere....
Is DVB-T support being currently worked on? What is the likely timescale for sorting it?
I really don't want to have to play with linux and go mythtv, but it's looking the only option :-(
Hello!
I seem to be missing something here - how exactly do you utilise Event Notification in C#?? Perhaps a small example of how to check CurrentAudioTrack?
Cheers all

Is there a way to browse channels on the OSD in Live TV but without changing the channel itself? The reason I ask is that I have an intolerable 7-8 second delay from STB to my computer, which makes channel hopping very much impossible... if I could somehow browse using the OSD but without actually changing the channel, this would solve most problems. Then I suppose you would click 'OK' and it would jump to the current channel on the OSD.

Is it possible to turn off the on screen display? Because, for me, whenever it pops up it makes the video stutter and the sound to go out of sync. This only happens sometimes when I view recorded mpeg2 files, but almost always when I view divX or something similar. And it only happens when I view them through GB-PVR, if I use windows media player everything works perfect.
Sub or whomever it may concern,
Is it possible to have an automatic e-mail sent out to those who wish it notifying us of new releases, plugin updates, or GB-PVR updates? Or, if that is already in place, how do we go about joining such a list? Thanks!
I hate to mention this, since for the most part this is an awesome piece of software. Thanks tons.
I have a pvr250 and mvp. When playing back videos the service sometimes hangs. Resetting the service on the pc always fixes it. (So it is only a minor anoyance). Thought you would like to know about my experience anyway though.
Some patterns I have noticed.
if you get to far ahead of the system with up/downs on menus, or with ff/rw, this will occasionally cause it.
if the video you are trying to play was recorded in error and is a 0 length file, this also will hang the service.
In either case the menu just freezes and no further action will work. Am running the latest hauppage driver on a new system with almost no other software on it. It is recording to the windows drive (all thats in the machine so far).
Let me know if you would like me to hunt down and send logs when it happens again.
I guess I should also try and get a 100% repeatability sequence for you. I think the 0 length file is 100% repeatable. Will check.
I do software support so I know this is only preliminary info. I don't envy you trying to track down these intermittant problems.
Has anyone else had an issue with schedule shows only recording partially? This has happened for the last 6-7 shows I tried recording. GBPVR seems to just record maybe the first few minutes of the show.
Thanks in advance.

I just bought this tuner on Ebay (the text of the listing is at the bottom, which I think is very misleading) and I'm not sure that it can work with Windows XP Home Edition. When I plugged it in and installed the latest drivers (2.0.031) everything worked fine except for Video Capture (Code 10: Device cannot start). These drivers were for Windows XP Media Center Edition, but they were the only drivers on the Provideo website.
I doubt that GBPVR can utilize a device that Windows Xp's device manager cannot start. I'm confused as to why devices that only work on Windows XP MCE are on the list of compatible hardware for GBPVR. Do people use GBPVR on Windows XP MCE as well? Thank you.
