Hello.
I have a Triax TSS 400 MK2 SAT>IP converter. NextPVR recognizes all four tuners. I made a channel scan and everything went fine. If I now want to watch live tv I only see for a second "please wait" and nothings else happens. Can anybody help?
Hoping someone has an idea about what's causing this.
I was at my brother in laws over the weekend and his NextPVR is acting strange. The UI is scaled by, I guess 200%
Fonts are huge and look chunky and jagged. Some buttons on popups are off-screen. Mouse clicks are all wrong (you must use a remote to select controls.) It looks like it's rendering at 1 resolution and stretching the result.
However, live TV and it's overlays are perfect.
He was back a few versions of npvr, so I updated to latest version, changed render mode, tried to scale the UI by -10% (in case it was stuck) Switched to windowed mode, and changed the theme. I even tried ctrl-scroll (zoom in word or excel) in case he had done that. I even tried changing the UI setting to 640x480 from auto and it just made a small window, stretched.
When I setup his machine I backed up the config.ini and reverted to that with no change.
Windows 10 itself is scaled in the control panel to 150% (recommended by windows) but I switched back to 100% and it didn't affect. All other programs and apps are fine.
I forgot to email the logs to me, but I think I can get him to send them. Any ideas?
I have been using the Android app. since it been released. A nice addition for NextPVR.
I like the simple, clean interface and ease of use.
I mostly use the app for scheduling and managing recording.
1 - I would like to have a WOL options to wake up the server if need be. I presently use a different app. on my phone to WOL and then open the NextPVR Android app.
2- The ability to delete a recording.
3- After scheduling a recording, having the app return to the time in the guide of the just scheduled recording.
4- Ability to have different colour genre in the guide. i.e. movie blue, sport green etc.
5- Android TV compatibility.
6- The ability to translate the app. "I am French, would be easier for the family"
I posted about 3 weeks ago that my new HTPC could not find any channels with my existing Hauppauge tuner. In the end it worked after I installed different drivers. But then I lost the channels again.
Iâve own the WinTV-HVR-2205 which I bought 3 years ago and it has given me no trouble. A few weeks ago I moved the pci-e card to a different workstation as I had upgraded my HTPC and was using it to build a second one. Still a windows 10 64 bit workstation.
I left the new pc off for two weeks and unplugged the tv antenna as it's used by my own HTPC. When I switched it all on I again and plugged the antenna back in I found I had no channels again.
The first time I
Downloaded some drivers and performed a scan.
No channels were found. I check card seating and antenna cable without any issues.
I downloaded the Digital Signal Monitor which said there was no signal.
However I also downloaded the ProdInfo tool and noticed that some of the dllâs were missing.
A further search on the internet lead me to a different set of drivers.
After installing these the card found ALL tv and radio stations.
Although the Digital Signal Monitor still claimed there was no signal.
I was able to watch tv successfully through the NextPvr front end, record, load up EPG etc.
I switched the HTPC off and unplugged the antenna and returned to it 3 weeks later only to have no signal.
Here is what I tried to do the second time.
I removed all drivers from the pc using the clean-up utility.
I even had a saved channel xml file to import from my old pc which has all the Brisbane channels and frequencies.
I am at a loss as to why I had all the channels and now have no channels again.
Everything points to a driver issue but I have used the latest drivers and the driver I had used for years with out success. Can anyone assist me.
I'm watching a show that is still recording. I begin watching late. I skip/fast forward the commercials eventually I reach the present "Live" point in the broadcast. But instead of it playing what is arriving live, it treats it as the recording ended and I'm bumped back out to the guide.
Hi there.
I am using Next PVR 4.0.5 (171208) running on windows XP, and I've noticed that ever since I've updated to this version, the NPVR service, unbeknown to me, has suddenly exited and I
haven't found out until I've checked my recordings folder and discovered there are no recordings available.
then I find that the recording service has caused an error and it asks me if I want to send a report to Microsoft.
Unfortunately, the next version after 4.0.5 (171208), no longer works on windows XP, so I have to put up with this problem.
Is there anything I can do to fix just this one bug without needing to upgrade windows versions?
Thanks.
I've looked but only find info on Directv (cable box), not on Directv NOW (streaming). I have built a HTPC and installed Kodi and NextPVR. I have an Hauppauge 4 turner carded installed in the TV. It all works (somewhat) and I get the Orlando TV channels. I subscribe to DIRECTV now and get that content also but cannot integrate the program guide into either the NextPVR or Kodi program guides. Anybody figure out a solution. Without integration I find no way to record as in using a DVR. (Also I want to mention, the Blog search engine returns all all kinds of Directv info when searching for Directv NOW info.)
I want to use NextPVR (latest version) to record OTA broadcasts. Of course, being OTA the weather effects reception. Sometimes I can receive up to 18 channels when the weather is right. Other times I can only get 12 channels. The problem is that NextPVR freezes on every channel when the signal is weak. The total program freezes. Can't do anything with it except shut it down with the Task Manager. Is this a likely bug or is there anything I can do to address this? (I have an HDHR Dual network tuner).
