My system has been stable for months recording everything consistently (and with 'er indoors that means multiple simultaneous recordings every night). I updated from 3.7 to 3.8.3 160929 on Tuesday night. Everything appeared normal and the update looked like it was successful.
I'm now getting severe earache as most of the recordings failed to record on Wednesday and Thursday. The error on screen reads "No Errors but no data received. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal".
There are no apparent errors in the usual logs indicating anything's wrong. ndigitalhost -22 recording at 21:59 on 2016-10-13 was successful but ndigitalhost-23 recordings at the same time both failed.
Has anything changed in the new release which would affect this area of NPVR?
I'm confused. The TV Listings wiki page says to put all of them in the NONR data directory (C:\Users\Public\NPVR\). Being that it's a plugin, shouldn't some of the files go in the NPVR\plugins\ subfolder? When I downloaded and extracted the TV Listings files to an NPVR folder on my D:\ drive while preparing for going live. TV Listings.db3 & .dll were extracted to Plugins\TV Listings\. 69 files were extracted to Skin\Default\TV Listings\. TV Recordings.xml (which is a file that starts with a<skin> statement and ends with a </skin> statement) was extracted to Skin\Default\TV Recordings\.It also doesn't say where to put the XmlthExtras file. I tried to find the answers at http://forums.gbpvr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=45, the link in the wiki, but it's dead.Just need to know where toi put which files.
The House of Cards. Original artwork is red but when I go over it, turns yellow with an unrelated show.
I looked in the Media Directories C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Media and found House of Cards, but they are all the correct ones of the US Show (Kevin Spacey). I tried deleting them all and re-doing it - same thing!
I cannot find where that awful yellow artwork is from (and even the red artwork is incorrect).
No other show CHANGES when I tab across to it; just that one.
Where on earth are they kept? Not in the dir either.
Since upgrading I noticed that the were no pending recordings showing despite many recurring recordings existing, all of which had worked perfectly in 3.7.7.
Initial upgrade did not work properly (updated via prompt in NPVR) so ended up trying several times (Forum posts suggested deleting NPVR folder and re-installing). Finally did uninstall via Control Panel, rebooted, installed 3.7.7 and that no longer showed the recurring recordings as pending. Did Control Panel uninstall again, reboot, and back to 3.8.3 then deleted all pre-existing recurring recordings.
I import EPG data via Schedules Direct. Live TV works. Direct record works. Quick record works and record one episode also works and all of these show in pending. But, if I select to record a show using recurring settings it does not turn red in guide nor does it show in pending recordings.
Despite searching the forum I cannot find anything similar. Hope you can help please? Thank you.

When I open this playlist with VLC (on Android) the streams are all fine, but when I open it with Kodi nothing happends, sometimes it tries to buffer for a few seconds, but then nothing.
I attached the logs from Kodi, but nothing really stands out to me.
I can no longer access the nextpvr web server, so I cant run nextpvr as a backend for kodi.
If i go to localhost:8866 i get this:

Depending upon the number of episodes, The Metadata Record screen seems to use one of two formats. One format is used when there is only one episode and the other format is used when there are two or more episodes. IMHO you should use the format for 2 or more episodes when there is only one episode.
My tv guide (schedules direct) indicates shows such as Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow (CW channel) are premium (has a red diagonal bar that is labeled premium for each episode of these shows). When I recorded the first episode of Supergirl, I couldn't play it back and couldn't burn it to disk (using software which I have used in the past) to watch in another room. Is this something that has been done by the networks? Does npvr really record these shows in a coded format so the rocording can't be watched? Any ideas how I could record and watch them at a later date?

NextPVR on the actual HTPC runs fine, I've set up the channels for each tuner, tested, all good!
However when I run the app on my main PC, with 'Act as client PC' checked, a blue bar pops up across the selection field stating "Initiating device scan" but it never progresses any further!
I have also set the Server Name to 'HTPC' (the actual network name of the HTPC).
