Is there supposed to be an extra space between "Demod" and the bracket? It looks like it in the screenshot, but I could be wrong.

FILTER_TUNER=WinFast DTV1000 T BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod (Thomson DTT7579)

That made a difference - it's scanning now. Hopefully, I will be able to report some good news soon.

Sub,

I've got a current EPG and checked that out (even reloaded it). The scanning process doesn't find any channels. The WinDTV app with the card tunes and works fine so the card and signal appear to be OK.

What next please?

Can you try scanning with the ScanChannelsBDA utility from:
http://www.dayc.vispa.com/files/ScanChan..._EZ166.exe

I'll be interested to see if it finds any channels.

Sorry, I'm guessing there is something funny about the BDA driver for that device if both GB-PVR and that third party utility fail to find any channels.
