Playing Back from a Camcorder

Hi, I have an ATI Theatre 550Pro. I connected my camcorder to my tv tuner and am trying to get a signal to play back everything on the camcorder, on my monitor. Afterwards, I want to record what is playing back, and then burn it to a dvd. I'm trying to get a signal with gbpvr, but I don't know how, exactly. I mean, when you hook the camcorder up to the tv, you do TV/Video and select which one its connected to, but this is just connected to the tv tuner so I'd assume I'd have to go to like channel 3 or something, but I have no idea. If someone wants can help me out on aim, my aim is coorsdan. If there is an alternate program I can use that makes this very easy, please let me know. Thanks.

You can create an extra capture source for your ATI 550, and set it to use the composite/svideo input. Set the EPG source to 'none' and manually create a channel called something like 'CAM' or 'AV1'. You'll then be able to switch to this channel when you're in live tv, or scheduling a manual recoridng.
