this thread is a good start to get xmltv working for aussies.
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

On thing I picked up from your comments is that you're running the TwinHan DTV, which implies you're using the proprietary DTV drivers and not the BDA drivers. To use this with GB-PVR, you'd need to uninstall the DTV drivers and install the BDA drivers that can be downloaded from http://www.twinhan.com
Quote:soz but im writing this while watching a good interview with an ex Aussie labour politician on twinham DTV(shameless plug cause its all I've got....but it works)
ok,
I start configuration...
Under General I only have 1 option at skin choice and that is blue....
I then go to capture sources
-I click on ADD
-I choose source name as Media Centre
-I then go to recording source
-I choose BDA recording Plugin
-I then choose settings for this
-I then choose Twinhan DVB-T, Device 1, Country=Australia,Region-Transmitter=All Channels

Once you have your XMLTV file , with the Twinhan Card, I found that scanning all channel, all regions is the best options or it will miss some channels. This takes a while, so get a beer and come back in 10mins or so. After that you can map the channels it finds to the EPG channels. You should see live TV in the top corner of the channel scan page.

So get the BDA drivers , get the XMLTV file, set the Mux to DVR-MS and see if you can get going.

Good Luck ! Vit.

Firstly a big thankyou to vitesse pilot, betlit, stefan, congenictv and of course sub. Cheers cheers and cheersSmile
Fixed the problem after seeing other twinham posts.
The problem was and I quote from sub,

"The twinhan software unregisters the Microsoft Demultiplexer for bizarre reason. I dont know why. You can re-register it with the following:

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax"

So clicked on start then run then pasted above info into it and clicked Ok. I then installed BDA drivers back in and all is now good in the dazzla office.

Ive gott all FTA channels and I am scanning EPG right now.

Cant wait to hook into thisSmile
