Strange PVR350 SVideo problem

But unfortunately no go.
Any other ideas??
Just an FYI, I have a PVR-350 with a digital sky box running into it via a scart to rca-composite cable into the s-video of the pvr (with the provided rca to s-vid converter). Wintv2000 shows the input to be composite 2 (I think, sorry about being vague).

If you need any more info please let me know.
At this stage I am thinking about writing something up to start and stop WinTV and then fire up GB-PVR. I want this to be as simple as possible so my wife and flatmate can both use this system without a hardcore training course.

As an aside, GB-PVR takes a long time to start up on boot, but I suspect it is something to do with good old XP.

I know this is an old thread but I did a search on the forums because I was having the same problem.

I am also using a Sky decoder, I have the SCART out of the sky decoder connected to the S-Video in on the PVR 350.

Everytime I restarted the PC the input would be in black and white, however if I started the winTV application first, closed that and then started GBPVR it was in colour.

I amended the direct.ini with the suggestions made by Sub and its working perfectly.

Just thought I would post an update here.
