Hauppague WinTV PVR2 USB config

I have a Hauppague WinTV PVR2 USB and installed the drivers and of curse the gbpvr software. I ran the Tuning Assistant but saw no channels, even tho it found the right channels I pay for. When trying to run the PVR, it tells me that "No availabe PVR350 was detected in the system". Interesting considering I told it I had the WinTV PVR. How do I convince the PVR I have what I have?

Sounds like you've set the 'hardware decoder' setting to use the 'Hauppauge PVR350' option. Set it to 'none - use software decoding'. The setting is in the top left of the 'playback' tab of the config application.
